I have a dodgy toe which meant most of my footwear had become uncomfortable or unwearable so I thought I would try your shoe stretcher. I also bought a bottle of liquid which I sprayed onto the part of shoe being stretched. I have currently stretched 3 pairs of mainly leather trainers, 2 pair of leather dress shoes and am currently working on boots, waterproof boots and hiking boots. As anyone knows to buy specialist boots and decent dress shoes can cost hundreds and a decent trainer £70 plus. To think that one stretcher costing shillings has saved me all that money is fantastic. There’s enough for a good hiking weekend and a wee drop of what you fancy. I am HAPPY.

The first thing I would say is this is only ONE shoe stretcher and not a pair. Was disappointed when I received only one but then read the small print, this is the reason it was cheaper than the other listings. This is fine if you have the time to stretch one shoe at a time rather than doing the pair together.The shoe stretcher itself is pretty sturdy, so far I have stretched only one pair of shoes but does feel a bit flimsy when twisting the parts and takes a bit of manoeuvering. The main thing is it does the job. It comes with bits you can fit in to put in the heel for stretching the shoe length and around the main part of the shoe if there are certain areas that are tight. The width stretching is relatively easy to ramp up. Having looked into this it is recommended that a shoe shoe stretcher is used with a spray which you will need to buy separately.

Bought some great Sketchers walking shoes, but for some reason the left little tow was rubbing. Was a bit dubious about this tool, but for about a week I used it (with the little plastic additions to target certain points) and slowly the shoe stretched. Haven't needed it since, but for the price, fixed £80 shoes, so worth it.

I've got a knobbly 'tailor's' bunion on my outer left foot. This means I need to get a wide fitting or stretchy pair of shoes. I often still need to break them in. I hate buying and gradually breaking in new shoes. On a recent visit to a Podiatrist he suggested I take my left foot shoes to Timpsons get them stretched over the area of the problematic bunion. This I did and worth every penny. However I still had lots of other shoes that needed attention.I did my consumer research and bought this single foot model as I only needed it for one foot. It also looked sturdier and had good reviews. After it arrived it was indeed sturdy but only had a limited number of holes to insert small curved, supplied projections to stretch over. This was no good for my purposes as i needed to stretch the area where my bunion was. So took it down to the shed, took measurements, and drilled a series of additional holes so that I could focus where I needed the stretching done. After this modification the device was greatly improved. It also meant that I could leave it clamped for extended periods. Glad I bought it but would be useless for me without my additional hole drilling.

Works really well, only one device ( not a pair like other sellers ) which typical Male I didn't read, but it works really well and very sturdy, stretched a pair of tennis shows out to fit properly, so all good !

I thought I'd prefer the more traditional wood version of a shoe-stretcher product but mixed reviews of their build quality and performance pushed me towards considering this plastic style. I don't regret this purchase in any way. The ability to target specific areas using the plastic 'clip on' pieces was a big plus as I needed to widen the Toebox of a single shoe. Just be mindful of the extreme pressure this device will exert on both heel and toe construction so, as recommended, increase the pressure in stages over a day or so. The accessories and stretcher can be neatly stored in the quality ziplock bags provided.

This is an ideal product for one legged people, but I am going to have to order another, as I have two feet, thus two shoes in each pair. It seems to be a robust and ideal product for the job, but will have to reserve full judgement until I have a brother for this solitary item.

Sehr robust, das Plastik wirkt unzerbrechlich. Nur brauchbar für niedrige Schuhe, sonst geht das Fersenteil nicht rein.
