This has a nice and strong, sturdy structure and the walls are thick enough to take a fair amount of impact. It offers a dair amount of protection for the contents and keeps things nice and tidy. It has a nice lining. Due to its rigidity of the structure it allows it to be placed in amongst other heavier things and keeps it protected from the weight of other objects around it.The textile in the outside makes it look very smart.The handle is ergonomic and comfortable to use.

Firstly, I doubt very much whether this case was designed specifically to carry the Fujitsu ScanSnap iX1300 scanner. It is far more likely that it just happens to be the right size, and it is, approximately. I think the giveaway is that none of the photos on the description page show the scanner in the case. (Edit - I see there ARE now a couple of pics, showing the scanner in the case. However, these pics just confirm that the case is too large for the scanner.) There is a brief glimpse of it in the video, showing that the width is approximately suitable, but the 18.5cm width (or depth, if you have it standing up) can be seen as too large for the item (it is also not big enough to contain the power supply as well as the scanner - it can be jammed in, but not comfortably).It is a perfectly plain carrying case, with a handle, and a zip fastening. The interior has a pleasant fabric lining, and the scanner sits neatly inside, unfortunately with space to spare, as detailed above. The outside of the case is covered in a light-coloured fabric which will quickly become dirty, and will be difficult to clean.The description mentions an "internal mesh pocket" for accessories. There is no internal mesh pocket, and even if there was, there still isn't room for the scanner AND the power supply, so adding a mesh pocket wouldn't help. The video on the description page shows the case being dropped, but doesn't show what was in the case at the time. If your scanner was in the case, it would almost certainly have broken, as there is no padding inside the case.It's a decent wee case, and I'll find a use for it, but it won't be the totally fabricated use suggested by the item's title and description page..

A little pricey, but a perfect fit for my new scanner. Holds cords, cables, etc. and the scanner is very secure and protected in the case - couldn't ask for more than that.
