I'd like to say that this blanket is perfect because it offers the weight I like and comforts me like no comforter has. However, it is veeeeerrryyyy hot and putting "cooling" in front of this weighted blanket changes nothing. It will be hot in high temperatures, or even mild temperatures. I must put my a/c up a bit to stay under it or else I will start sweating through the night. It feels so good, but becomes too hot. I don't necessarily think it is the manufacturers fault for making a "cooling" blanket that doesn't feel cool. It's just part of owning a heavy blanket. But you could bet your bottom dollar that this blanket is going to feel beyond amazing in the fall and winter. So 4/5 stars from me.

I have never owned a weighted blanket. I didn’t think I would like one, and I don’t have anxiety. However, I do have insomnia. And I like to feel fully cocooned at night. I sleep with the covers pulled over my ear while lying on my side. I frequently awaken pulling the covers up and fighting my husband for more of the comforter. That’s why I decided to try this weighted blanket. I bought the 20 pound navy blanket because it was the cheapest. So, if I didn’t love it, it would be no big loss. But I do LOVE it! It’s very well made, it’s the perfect size for just me, & I am sleeping better than I have in a long time. It’s summer more, and nighttime temps here are in the upper 70s, but this blanket isn’t hot. It’s just so comforting. I don’t pull it over my ear, and I don’t feel the need to now. I feel snuggly enough with it just over my shoulder. If you’re on the fence about a weighted blanket, you won’t be disappointed. And if you already like weighted blankets, this is a great quality item. I researched weighted blankets before I choose this one, and I believe it outweighs others (pun intended).

I've been using a weighted blanket on and off for years. I sleep hot so I do not use it when it is warmer. I ended up taking off the comfy cover from my prior blanket to get rid of the some warmth, but it just isn't very nice that way.I was excited to see a reasonably priced COOLING weight blanket. I had put off buying one sooner because of the price.This showed up and felt nice and had the weight I wanted. And I like the new zipper system!It is not cooling though! I still wake up sweaty. And I still do not sleep through the night every night. It's not like it is 75+ in my apartment - it is usually under 70 at night. I am very disappointed in the cooling aspect of this item.I expected more for the price.

The selling point for this blanket is the washable duvet cover.They don't warn you of the difficulty reinstalling it. And, it was brilliant of them to give no instructions whatsoever. If you love spending an hour fiddling with a mundane task, then this is the blanket you want.Go ahead and give one as a gift. It'll be used once then tossed in the closet (minus the duvet cover that couldn't be reinstalled).I love weighted blankets, but this brand induces rather than reduces stress.

Update 1/6/23-Contacting Gravity about the broken zipper was a a disaster. They refused to assist as the blanket was purchased from the “Gravity Store” on Amazon. Their customer service us abysmal. They refused to help and told me to contact Amazon. Amazon has told me to contact the manufacturer, Gravity, which makes as it’s their product and their product is defective. I consider the cover defective as after one hand wash the zipper broke. You can view photos to see the extend. The cover is basically useless. For such an expensive weighted blanket I expected much better customer service and product support from Gravity. I’d this is how they are, I strongly urge customers to consider other brands for their weighted blanket needs.The blanket is great. The cover is not. After one light hand wash the cover broke, the zipper on the outer cover is completely warped and will not close, thus the cover is useless. I have reached out to Gravity specifically for this issue and am awaiting to hear from them. I will update after a a week or two depending customer feedback.

I get much deeper REM sleep since buying this and it is perfect and also the heaviest weight option of 35 lbs. I can't complain. I am happy with it. It doesn't make me too hot where you throw the blanket off in the middle of the night. It's just perfect. I also like the fact that you can machine wash the duvet cover portion of it whereas some don't have the duvet cover. I did a lot of research before buying and this is well worth the money.

I love this generation 3 version. While the zipper seems fragile, it works just fine. The inner section with beads is well made and nicely secured inside the sturdy yet soft cover. The cover washes up beautifully and it’s easy to put the two segments together once again. It’s a comfy, durable weighted blanket that fits both queen and king size. If you’ve never had a weighted blanket it will seem heavy, but it surely is comfy when spread out on your bed.

Well made.Even weight distribution. A bit hot for late summer, but very good for the Canadian Fall already. Detachable cover for washing. Expensive, but worth a try.
