The house we bought needed the garage door pulls replaced as they were dry rotted and filthy. These are sturdy, have a great cord length, and are easy to put on.

The product works well.

It's a minor irritation but an irritation nonetheless that this is nothing more than a piece of string and a piece of plastic which you must assemble yourself. It's not hard to do that but, aesthetically, having an ugly knot that I tied visible in the center of the T of the pull is not what I was after. It was never going to look good- it's a pull rope with a plastic handle- but it could have looked *less* ugly if they had done just a tiny bit more work before shipping.

My garage opener rope ripped while trying to open the garage so I purchased this. It was very easy to install and fit perfectly in the slot where the previously ripped rope was. I opened and closed the garage manually several times and the rope was strong enough to hold the garage door. I don't know anything about garage doors but the house is fairly new so I'm not sure if this rope is suitable for all doors. Hope this helps.

We had a power outage and realised we don't have an emergency release string for our garage door. This a really good quality product for the price.
