Appauling item not as described. Lights too dull to see. Did not work on the 3 mobile vans that we passed!. One small beep at traffic flow camera. Which is irrelevant. Complete waste of money.

It is very small and ideal for my new mini 5 door. Recently drove a route of 400 miles I know well and no speed camera or mobile location was missed. The biggest problem is it will not work with recent MS operating systems when it comes to update data base etc. After a few months I will probably move to a different device when I get concerned that the data base is not what it should be because I cannot communicate with the K3 via my PC using Windows 10.I would like a longer battery life also, but recognise that this is not easy in such a small device.

I find this an excellent little reminder . I haven't done any of the logging on or connecting up - just stuck it in the cigarette lighter holder on the console and left it there permanently. When it's been doing it's own thing for a couple of days you will get to know what must be overhead satellites and you will see both bands go RED when you are near a speed camera and hear a beep, beep, beep - it tweets now and then as it picks up signals from here and there but you will definitely know when you are near a speed camera it's a noticeably different sound (having had to fork out £60 for 2nd speed offence (36 mph!) I was absolutely neurotic in case I should get another one. In any event even if it twitters with overhead satellites 'tweedle dum - tweedle dee'!! - it' still keeps you alert. I thought that perhaps unless you logged in and went through all the rigmarole you wouldn't get the use out of it (computers get on my nerves) but it's great for me. Not to say that one of the super dooper speed alert cameras etc would'nt also be nice to own but cost a lot more for all the extra gizmos.

I am not tech minded enough to possibly get the best from this. I have it in my car and use it in conjunction with my sat nav which warns me of fixed sites and no sound from k3. Going into an area of poss speed traps ( provided I don't have the music too loud) I get a response. Perhaps when I get my son to up load it will get better.

Very useful gadget at fraction of other gizmo's price(s).

Complete waste of money. The battery life last about three hour so driving to Wales it ran out of power. There was no warning that it was running out of power it just switched itself off!!!!So you're sailing along comfortably aware that the detector will warn you if a camera is coming up and low and behold its switched itself off. Not only is it a waste of money, it's not fit for purpose.
