This is my second order of this cleanser. Gentle and gets the job done.

I've used this exclusively as my facial cleanser for about three weeks and I like it. The scent is light and fresh-smelling to me. I typically use it in the shower after the steam has opened my pores. I dry my face and hands with a towel before applying the cleanser with my bare hands; this way the product isn't diluted with water. It doesn't lather up like soap, but it has a nice thick consistency and it doesn't take much to cleanse my face. My skin feels clean, but not the squeaky clean I get with regular soaps. However, it also doesn't dry out my skin as the regular soaps have. I'm in my mid-50's and have dealt with an oily complexion my whole post-puberty life, so I've tried many products through the years. I know over-stripping my skin makes it oilier throughout the day and I've noticed my skin hasn't been quite so oily since I've been using this. I follow up with an oil-free moisturizer containing 10% benzoyl peroxide and tea tree oil.

Having mature combination skin, sometimes I need something that provides me with some extra moisturization while other times I need something that gets in and strips away excessive oils and other gunk. This is a facial cleanser that really helps to strip away all of that unwanted excessive stuff on my face without it going too far and drying out my skin.It's an almost clear gel that spreads around easily. Works deeply within the pores to pull out excess sebum, dead skin cells, makeup and any other gunk on the skin. It's gentle on the skin and does not cause me any sort of irritation at all. Rinses away well and is easy to use. Cleans very well and does so gently without disturbing my oil balance. Makes my skin feel very clean and balanced.Best for those with oily to slightly dry skin. Probably good for those with problematic skin. Good for all adult age groups. Excellent for my mature combination skin. Quite good for both men and women alike.

This review is for Georgette Klinger Niacinamide Face Cleanser - 6.7 oz.It was my first time trying anything from this line. My first impression was that it was a good size gel cleanser and since I've purchased gel cleansers with around $26 for 6.7 oz, I didn't really question the price. I twisted the top open first and the seal had already come off. Unsure if it was tampered with but it's just a cleanser so I just poured some on my hand to try it out. The smell is a lot. You have to lean up close to smell it, but the smell is not light. It also smells like men's aftershave, men's soap, or men's cologne.I cleansed my hands with it first because I always test out products on my hands/arms before putting it on my face. The smell was quite pronounced and I couldn't get over how it smelled manly. I think this product would work great for a guy, but this is not marketed toward a guy so I took away a star.The product didn't seem to have much suds. I use a lot of gel cleansers and there isn't always a lot of suds, but there usually is an okay amount. For the amount of product I poured into my hand, the suds seemed on the low side. I took a star away for this.I washed my hands and proceeded to do other things, but this aftershave scent lingers on my hands. I don't like that at all. I tried to wash my hands again with a lightly scented lavender soap but the smell of this product didn't go away. I washed my hands after with bath and body works hand soap which is heavily fragranced and it seems to be fighting the bath and body works product on smell. On the bright side, It didn't leave my hands too dry or too moisturized though, somewhere in the middle, so it seems like an okay cleanser product.If you're a male, I highly recommend this, it will make you smell good and cleanse your face without drying it out. If you're a female, and don't want to smell like a male, then I would recommend you look elsewhere. But if you don't mind the scent, then go for it.

I have been extremally happy with the items and they work great. Fragrance is light. Skin feels nice and clean and soft! 4 Stars. Hope you find this review and pictures helpful! Wow!~ This highly fragranced Georgette Klinger Niacinamide Face Cleanser is not for the weak of heart! It is highly scented, with a touch of masculinity. It has a woodsy, fall-like scent to me. I absolutely adore it! Many other reviewers commented that the scent was a turn off, but if you like spicy, piney scents, you will adore this. I have a strong, sophisticated scent profile (think Oud, cashmere, patchouli), so this falls into my wheelhouse for enjoyability! It stays on your skin long after you wash, too (unfortunately, if you layer other moisturizers after washing, it WILL fade pretty fast....a bummer for me!).I have used Georgette Klinger products in the past thanks to BeautyBox and LOVED them, so when I had a chance to try this out, I was excited. This cleanser did not disappoint! Besides smelling like heaven to me, it really did what it said on the back of the bottle! It was gentle to my skin's biome, without stripping or making my skin feel "tight" after washing, which I always appreciate with a good cleanser. I feel very fortunate to have found this product, and believe I've just found my new favorite!!! Highly, highly recommend this product. I enjoy this cleanser. It is easy to use, nice sleek packaging and smells good too.Clear thick consistency and a little goes a long way. Feels nice on the skin and no reaction which I tend to get with strong products.

So far I’m really enjoying this cleanser. My first concern is always whether my skin will react as I can be very sensitive to products, but I’ve had no issues with this cleanser. It’s a light gel like consistency that creates a light foamy feel while using. I don’t particularly like the scent, however it doesn’t cause me any issues (I’m very scent sensitive for migraines), and since it’s only a short time for use, not a “leave on” product, I don’t consider it a problem, I just definitely would not choose this to ‘enjoy the scent’, but also I’m very glad it’s not floral or other overly perfumed options. I want a cleanser to leave a clean feeling, and this product certainly does that, I feel like my skin would squeak if it could! There is absolutely no residue feeling which I love. I’ve only been using this for a week so cannot comment of ‘skin improvements’ or such, but I will happily continue to use this face cleanser.At time of writing this review this is listed at $35.00. Although this does seem a little high to me as I personally have not bought more expensive brands in general, I also feel like it is good quality and I am very happy with how it feels so it’s probably worth this price, and a little does do each wash so this will last a reasonable amount of time. I do recommend this product.

I love the feel of this on my skin, it lathers well and feels silky smooth on my face, lightly and pleasantly fragrance, leaves my face feeling clean and soft. The only downside is the price, it costs 5 x more than the one I usually use. So as much as I like it I cannot warrant the extra expense when my current product works just as well.

I've been using this cleanser for about a week and a half now (note: I have combination skin). Oh my god, it is SO GOOD!I was predisposed to not liking this product because the bottle seemed relatively small (only 200 mL). Also, when I first used it, I found that it doesn't lather as much as some other cleansers I'm familiar with. However, as the days went by, I found myself really starting to like the product. Lemme go into more detail:1. The cleanser is really, really good at cleansing. For context, I regularly wear a full face of makeup that leans towards medium-heavy coverage. This includes a specific Korean mascara that typically needs its own remover to get rid of... Or so I thought. Y'all, this cleanser gets right through all that! A small dollop (about 3/8 to 1/2 an inch in diameter) is sufficient enough to melt the makeup product away, including my notoriously hard to remove mascara. I then follow up with a smaller dollop (about a pea-sized amount) that I mix with some warm water and use for a second, more thorough cleansing (which I do with a silicone face brush). I leave it on my face for about ten seconds before I rinse it off. By the time I put on micellar water, there is no trace of makeup product left. Overall, despite the two rounds of cleansing, I use less product than if I were to use a combination of cleansing oil and my old cleanser. (This is why I'm not so mad at the 200ml quantity anymore, lol!)2. The cleanser doesn't dry my skin out. Probably because whatever agent that is responsible for lathering doesn't seem to be used in this product. I don't worry about tightness or flakiness after using this cleanser, which is a major concern of mine. It's probably because of the lack of lathering that this product seems much easier to rinse off, too.3. This cleanser smells nice! I know that the fact it is scented at all may be a detractor for my sensitive skin friends, but I happen to like the smell. It reminds me of a fairly mild men's aftershave.There is ONE con I should mention: this stuff burns your eyes like crazy. So, consider yourself warned: when using this cleanser, don't open your eyes! Wash it off thoroughly first.Overall, this is a GREAT product and I thoroughly recommend it if you have combination skin like me.
