These look fab in to photos but in real life? Not even close. The model they use must be tiny to give the perception of large beautiful wings. What I hate is the “feathers” were bent and folded out of shape and the harness for wearing them are four ribbons placed in such a way that it’s impossible to put on securely. I’m still working on fixing it myself but seriously just keep looking for something else.BTW - Amazon won’t let me post zero stars and I think that would be too much!

These wings may be made of Styrofoam, but they are still EVERYTHING! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! I CANNOT WAIT TO WEAR THEM TO WORK WITH MY COSTUME. Now that I see it in real life I will be getting the white one as well.

The media could not be loaded. These are made of polyethylene foam packing material. I already knew that when I decided to purchase them. For what I'm using them for, the design of these and how the 'feathers' lay are perfect, hopefully the gold paint won't melt this foam. I've made wings out of this material before for a costume and it's time-consuming, but done right, they can look great. So, my 5-stars is because being able to order these saved me hours of patterning, cutting and assembly. That said, a lot of the feather pieces were not attached when this arrived and I will have to glue them back on, although I can't really tell where they are missing from, so maybe I won't. I did reinforce the entire piece by securing the loose areas with hot glue. The middle is very flimsy and not very stable, so it wobbles. I'm not sure if I can fix that, but if it lasts for the one day I need them for without falling apart, I'll consider that a win. The straps are not elastic, they are tie ribbons. That's not a problem, but I thought I should note that for anyone considering these for their own project or costume.These are light - much lighter than if you made them out of EVA foam. If you are on the fence about whether to get the large or the smaller ones, these are the larger ones. I'm glad I didn't get the small ones.They arrive folded in a box. They are packed in a plastic sheath and there's a hanger - which will be super helpful when storing them. I was able to remove a lot of the creasing and folds with a heat gun on low and held away from the wings. If you get too close, you will melt them, so be careful of that. A hair dryer would be safer, so if you have one, use it.I tried to take clear closeups to show what I received vs the product picture. These are not terrible, and with a little bit of care and styling, I think they can look great. Honestly, ppl on other platforms are selling the same style wings for a LOT more.

Great product, great well worth the price

There was absolutely no structure to these wings. The size was perfect, but everything else about them I didn't like.

I got these for my local ren fest and got nothing but compliments! They're lightweight and the straps are comfortable enough (surprising, because I thought they'd irritate my shoulders) to have worn all day. Definitely worth it!

These wings are total crap, cheap and falling apart while putting on the wings! I asked for a refund, but they have all these stipulations and I'm afraid that I will not get the refund once they have the product due to their strict return policies! This is not worth evern$20 it's so cheap.... please don't buy or you will be stuck with a bunch of super thin cheap foam with no paint just raw gray foam.
