Looks and tastes like supermarket cress to me
This is the real deal. Not sure whether it is the same variety that supermarkets sell ready grown but to me it is the same. I got 100% germination so have learned to be meaner with the number of seeds I sow. I use a little square plastic container that originally held pomegranate seeds from the supermarket. I use folded paper kitchen towel, soak it well, pour out the excess water, spread a few seeds evenly, clingfilm the top, and put it on the kitchen windowsill. By the next evening they were germinating. I removed the cling film when roots showed, watered once or twice each day, each time soaking well before pouring off the excess. I harvested about 6 days after sowing. You get loads of seeds in a packet. The packets are foil to keep the moisture out because the seeds would germinate very easily if they got damp. I only bought 3 packets because I had had trouble finding a decent cress. Highly recommended.

Grows really easily
So simple to grow. They work really well.Just put a folded sheet of kitchen roll in the bottom of a dish or ideally use an old cress pot, add seeds, leave on windowsill and keep moist. 3 days and seeds start to shoot. A week and you have 4 inch high cress ready to cut and eat.Packet has loads in, will keep you going for a while.

Just like 'cress' from the supermarket
Finally, I've found the 'salad cress' that supermarkets sell - it's not cress at all; it's MUSTARD!!Very easy to grow. I grow on a folded sheet of kitchen roll, in large plastic lids that I would otherwise have recycled. Initially germinate in the light (much quicker than starting them off in the dark). Once the seeds have sprouted approx 2-3mm, put them in the dark until they are about 4cm tall. Bring into the light and harvest when the leaves have lost their pale colour. They taste lovely!

i was expecting more seeds than this
not half as many seeds as expected compared to another brand/company that we've bought from in the past ..... yet again I feel that I've been misled somewhat and disappointedwon't be buying again from this seller not when I can buy twice as many seeds for less (and yes they all grew)
