It realy does look light it is a lit torch
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The only thing that you need to do, to fully understand why I am so excited by this torch, is have a look at my video. Even then, it really doesn't give you the true beauty of this torch when it is working, if you are a few feet away, it really does look like it is alight!-DESIGN-It is a lot bigger than your standard solar light/lantern and I suppose it has to be to house 96 LED's. What the size gives you though is an authentic sized torch. Any smaller and there is no way you would be taken in that it is a flame. The other benefit of the size is that it can carry a larger than usual solar panel on it's top. Good for charging up the larger than usual battery that it houses.-WHATS IN THE BOX-1 x Torch head1 x ground spike1 x extension tubeInstructions-OPERATION-One word, easy.Connect the ground stake to the extension to the head then stick it in the ground and press the button on the side of the Torch. Nothing will happen if it is during the day (and I would recommend that you put it out during the day as it will have the opportunity to get full charge then), but when it become dusk, the dusk to dawn sensor kicks in and the torch switches on.Unless you are partying all night, you wont see the torch go out and when you are looking at it, it is really captivating.-CONCLUSION-Not the cheapest thing to put up in your garden but this first one has convinced me to buy some more of them to scatter around. It is areal conversation point when the BBQ has spilled over into the night!I have had a number of the oil burning wick candles that are on bamboo canes for the last 10 years and they are dirty, need to be refilled, smell and need to be lit all the time. Not these. Put them in the ground and leave them. They come on whether you are having a garden party/BBQ or nothing.Very, very impressed and not a problem recommending. In a few years they may become the norm but this is the first I have seen.I'm giving this a 10/10

Beautiful and realistic
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love this natural looking torch light. It is made from a tough black plastic with a flickering solar light that looks just like a real flame, my husband actually thought it was. It looks lovely flickering away as soon as dusk falls, the solar panel is large so it soaks up enough sun to keep it alight for hours.I am really pleased with it and a row of these lights along a footpath, fence or pool will look lovely, well worth the money.
