THIS TONER IS AMAZING . FIRST I TRIED THE CAPELLO MAKE IN GREY THE STUFF WAS REALLY GOOD BUT IT WAS A LITTLE TO DARK A GREY FOR ME , SO I THOUGHT ID TRY THE JOANNA MAKE IN SILVER GREY . I MIX IT WITH WATER AND PUT IN A SPRAY BOTTLE . ONCE IV WASHED AND CONDITIONED MY HAIR I SPRAY THIS ON AND LEAVE IT ON.THE EFFECT IS REALLY GOOD ALREADY IT HAS TAKEN OUT THE YELLOW TONES I HAD IN MY HAIR. RECENTLY IV BEEN DYING IT TO MUCH , SO ITS BEEN A MONTH NOW WERE I HAVENT HAD TO PUT A DYE ON BECAUSE OF THE GOOD EFFECT THIS HAS I HAVE A LOVELY WHITE SILVER COLOUR. THE GOOD THING ALSO IS IT LAST FOR AGES. IT WILL DEPEND ON HOW MUCH WATER YOU WANT TO ADD ABOUT A THIRD OF THE COLOUR BUT IT IS UP TO YOU AND THE EFFECT YOU WANT . I HAVE ORDRED MORE OF THESE TO STOCK UP , IV JUST ORDERED THE BLUE SILVER SO CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS COMES OUT. THESE BEET ALL THE BRAND NAMED TONER IV PAID A LOT FOR THAT WASH OUT TO QUICK , I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE.

I am newly without hair dye, so wanted something which enhanced my steely-grey, badger distribution (which I love, by the way); this stuff is brilliant. I don't use it sprayed on, as I find it easier to put on my damp, newly washed hair by spraying 3 squirts into the palm of my left hand and then rubbing it into my right [too] and then fingering-it through my short hair. It makes the white White and the steely-grey more so. It seems to condition too, as I'm not having to use separate conditioner. Not sure if I am meant to, but I am using it daily (with no ill effects). Woman and also the younger variety seem to be "owning" grey more lately, and this product can only help, as it sharpens the whole look and lifts it. I shall continue to buy!

Used as directed. Zilch, nada, zero - I feel as if I have been sold a bottle of coloured water.I spilled some a little of the liquid, it didn't even colour the paper towel I wiped it with.Even though I have used some out of the bottle, I will be returning it for a full refund as the product is not as described.You can do this too! - with any product you purchase on Amazon!

This is a thin fluid and as a Scot I didn’t like the idea of diluting into a litre of water and pouring it over my hair then down the shower drain. I put approx a litre in the hand basin and used a plastic cup to repeatedly rinse. It gave a nice shine and a hint of blue which I really like .

I purchased this as an alternative or addition to blue shampoos and toners.I really liked this product. It was easy to use and easy to get all the hair with no blotchyness, which I thought may happen with this due to the spray.I sprayed it through, brushed it through, then styled my hair ad usually.The results are better than I have ever had with blue shampoos.My warm blonde hair looks ashier and less yellow.I have recommended this already to friends.It's also good value for money, it seems to go a far way, much further than shampoos ect. I've had it for a few months and I use it every time I wash my hair. I still have 3/4 left, my hair long and thick so I don't exactly use it sparingly.Therefore, this is a cheaper alternative to blue shampoo, which is also more effective. I would therefore recommend this product to anyone who wants to add some coolness to their hair shade, white, grey, platinum, blonde.... ect

This is great. I wasn’t sure it had worked when I applied yesterday but now I have washed hair I can see a difference. I would say the colour is a warm pink rather than purple which I like. As I have short hair I didn’t like the idea of putting on and styling. So I put on damp hair combing through. I left on for a while then I blasted with a hair dryer. My hair felt awful and sticky when dry so I wouldn’t use that way. I rinsed it a little later in the eve and washed as normal this morning. I’m pretty pleased with the result. Well worth it !

It does work if you have the patience to use it. I have long hair & have tried various ways of using it. If you spray it, it goes everywhere. It’s very runny, so just runs off hair. You can’t get the top off with wet hands either & it’s also difficult to spray using wet hands. I think I’ve got it now! I mix the liquid with hair conditioner, wrap my head in an old towel & leave it for about 30 mins. It does take the brassiness out of bleached hair but I think the thicker silver shampoo is better & far less hassle.
