Product does exactly what I want, but the Labgear website technical support could be improved.
I bought this product as a straight replacement for my Labgear HDU/681S, which failed after 5 years service - I suspect due to a severe lightning storm directly overhead. It does the job very well and I would have given it 5 stars, if it had been easier to set up (see below).I am recounting my experience as it may be useful to others and save them time. My requirements are to distribute the following to multiple flatscreen TV (22" - 26") sets spread around a fairly large 1960s house that has a mixture of old coax and more modern satellite grade cable depending on when the aerial points were installed.1) Freeview2) Analogue CCTV3) Virgin Tivo (connected to the Uplink In socket on the Labgear unit). As the Tivo box downstairs only has hdmi and Scart outputs I use a Triax tri-link kit to convert the Tivo scart to an analogue signal which is connected to the Labgear unit in the loft via the uplink. The labgear unit switch has to be set to UHF/CCTV in my scenario. Bearing in mind that the LDU608G and HDU681S have identical connections I thought it would be a simple process to just swap over my existing cables. It was, but the uplink on the new LDU608G unit refused to work. I am not an electrical expert, and after wasting hours checking all aspects of my system (so as not to appear an idiot!) I phoned the Labgear helpline, which was answered promptly by a very helpful technician who immediately diagnosed the problem. Because of 4G interference, the unit screens out certain channels, numbers 60+. Once I had changed the output from my Triax unit from channel 68 to channel 51 the uplink worked perfectly - why oh why couldn't this have been made clear in the instructions! It is worth experimenting with different channel numbers to get the clearest picture. Obviously, the Tivo picture via the uplink is not as good as hdmi, and probably wouldn't be great for watching sport on a really large screen, but it is perfectly adequate for general tv watching and saves renting additional set top boxes. My Freeview picture quality via this unit is very good.I can't comment on the satellite or IR digilink capabilities of this unit as I don't use them. Instead, I have opted for the stand alone Marmitek PowerMid XL infrared extender to control the Tivo box using remote controls in other rooms.Overall I would have no hesitation recommending the Labgear LDU 608G as a cost effective solution to distribute cable tv pictures. However, now that we live in the era of Wifi enabled smart TVs, I long for the day when someone creates a distrbution box / central home server (at a reasonable cost) that will do all this stuff wirelessly. I suspect that the content providers are making this as difficult as possible as they want us to rent multiple cable / satellite boxes.

Great picture quality
Bought as a replacement for a smaller amp as we were installing more TV points throughout the house. Was very easy to install and using f connectors means that all the cables stay well connected. The 4g filter also seems to work very well as there is no interference on any screen in the house. The number of inputs is also great as I was limited to one before but now (using another piece of kit) I can also distribute other HDMI signals around the house with ease

Connected
Solved my problem in replacing an old unit that had failed. Thank you.

Easy Installation
I ordered this as a replacement for an older distribution system. The main difference is that it has one less input which means that the VCR can no longer be distributed around the house. Whilst this device allows both SAT feeds to be connected from the SKy+ satellite dish I left the the direct feed from LNB 1 in situ and thus only connected the LNB2 feed. The system works well and was easy to install.

No problems at all
Replaced existing distribution box. 2 aerial input and several outputs. All connected via F type connectorsI bought it primarily to distribute HD Homerun around the house. No more signal drop out/freezing/lip sync issuesRecommended,Its a solid well built unit with built in power supply and many options should you wish to add a satellite/CCTV systemIf your not happy replacing coax plugs with F type connectors, you can simply purchase some F-type to Coax adapters

Problem Solved
This device replaced an ancient 4 way splitter that distributed Sky around the house with various degrees of success. This solved the problem and also had enough outputs for my growing collection of TVs. Found the new connectors far superior to the old coax ones.

like many other buyers
Firstly, like many other buyers, I am not technical. I needed a unit to take a satelite signal in, and output the signal to 8 (separate) outputs connected to sockets around the house with individual set top boxes (so that I can provide independent TV to various rooms around the house. The information / questions answered here about this product suggested that this unit can do that, including the setup instructions and diagrams in the manual. However, after connecting it up, I couldn't get any outputs to the sockets working. I spoke to Labgear who told me that what I actually needed was a 'Multiswitcher' - and NOT this product. This unit will distribute the same TV channel to the 8 sockets across 8 TVs (maybe ideal for sports bars / cafes etc... which I assume it will do very well, but not generally what I would consider to be a standard home setup. So, be aware that if you want to distribute a satelite signal to 8 separate sockets to provide independent TV to various rooms via independent set top boxes, then you will need a multi switcher and NOT this product.

Good technical understanding of signal distribution issues needed
Very good terrestrial signal distribution, and, although have not tested, no reason to doubt cctv distribution capability. However, designed only for Sky satellite distribution and its complicated setup. In my naiveite I though I would be able to use the device to distribute standard satellite (astra etc) along with the terrestrial.
