This boxset contains the 4 Films of Marilyn Monroe, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Some Like it Hot, How to Marry a Millionaire and The Seven Year Itch.It is great to finally see these films in Blu Ray, as a fan of Marilyns for many years, i have seen these on all formats VHS, DVD and now Blu Ray and can say there is a remarkable difference in colour, and sound, and even suprised that blu ray which relies on colour and clarity was even good on a Black and White movie, these are a welcome addition to the Marilyn fan,My only gripe, is that we in the UK seem to have bog standard releases, where as Spain, Italy and US versions were all released with 7 movies (No Business,River of No Return, The Misfits) were also included and had presentation boxes and postcards,included, which would have been a nice gesture for the UK market too.Still that aside it is still worth 5 stars to see Marilyn sparkle like a diamond in true HD

The Prints look amazing in this extremely good value box set of several of Monroe's most memorable films. I bought my first vhs copy of 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' (1953) in 1988 and it was a very washed out print that looked incredibly gaudy and cartoon like. Those vhs and early dvd copies didn't really do her justice. In this set 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes', and the cinemascope crackers "How to Marry a Millionaire" and "Seven Year Itch" (blown away by detail on Seven Year Itch) almost look like they were made yesterday bringing our goddess brilliantly back to life as she must have appeared to cinema goers. Some Like it Hot in black and white is also a nice crisp print. If you are a fan. This set is well worth buying and adding to as other films become available to buy individually.

Any fan of Marilyn Monroe would agree she just steals any picture she's in. Her presence on screen is unmatched by any actor or actress since her.The four films in this collection are her most popular and successful; Some Like It Hot, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch and How To Marry A Millionaire.In these four films she either plays a dumb blonde or something like it, which is what people perceived her to be back in the day- hence why these films were her most popular.Her comedic talent shines in these 4 films throughout. This is a must-have for any fan of Marilyn Monroe. Timeless Marilyn.

Some Like it Hot and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes are top of the range, wonderful stuff from Marilyn. How to Mary a Millionaire is quite engaging. The Seven Year Itch is not good.

My review is based on the quality of the blu rays which I received today. They were for my birthday so the price was not so relevant to me however £26 for 4 movies sounds reasonable to me. Anyway, the picture quality is beautiful, colours so rich and clear, I love them and of course the movies themselves are top notch stuff, they just dont make them like this no more!...if you are in doubt as to whether to buy, my advice is go for it they are truly gorgeous and so well presented, well done on the HD upgrade here!

These films look amazing on Blu Ray.I normally stick to modern or classic british stuff such as On The Buses / Only Fools and Horses.I have never really enjoyed watching B&W films but these are just upbeat great films and where they are on blu ray the clearness of the films look superb.Would recommend to anyone

Nicely put together collection of some of Marily's most known films. It's not much, considering the number of movies she has done, but, hey - it's in high def! price is OK considering the fact that buying all 4 movies separately would have cost a lot more.

I was really pleased with the box set! I'm a big fan of Marilyn Monroe's movies and was so pleased when they brought some of her films out in blu ray! The picture quality is very good. Much better than the normal DVD. would recommend it to any Marilyn Monroe fans.
