7 Inch Sat Nav GPS Navigation for Car & Truck with World Maps and Lifetime Updates

I have been in W. Australia for 30 days, and have been using NavPal to navigate me around a rather large country.NavPal has been invaluable and, apart from a couple of re-boots (and the construction of a bit of Freeway NavPal didn't recognise - awaiting update), this bit of kit has performed admirably, even after being left stuck to the windscreen of a Nissan X-Trail in temperatures topping 32 degrees Celcius for several hours!Directions were even vocalised in Australian, which was interesting.Next country it has to deal with will be Cyprus... just hope it doesn't talk to me in Greek.It's a ten from me.

The product is fine and easy to use. However, I must downgrade it on 3 counts: 1) It seems to have been used before as it kept coming up with an error initially apparently because of two prior address destinations in Italy and France being present. Once switched to factory default settings it worked perfectly. 2) There is no manufacturers name or model number either on the instrument or in the downloaded instruction manual, which results in not being able to identify it for map up-dating purposes. 3) Lifetime maps are supposed to be included, but can't be downloaded because of 2), and also because it seems a special code is required for free maps and no such code was provided in the package. (Was this because I have a previously used and recycled model?)

Very poor. Bought it because it said worldwide maps not realising you had to unload the uk maps first!! Worked fine in uk when we first got it but once had unloaded uk maps things changed. Couldn't upload other maps and couldn't reload uk ones. Service desk weren't helpful (in fact now ignoring my emails) so now using it as a trade in at a shop. All in all don't waste your money if you want a worldwide satnav.

Had this SatNav since June and it’s pretty good for the money, only let me down once when I lost GPS signal at a busy Miami intersection when taking a hire car back to the airport.I also left the rear clip/stylus holder in the hire car but I contacted the seller who kindly sent me a replacement free of charge!Recommended seller!!

All flash and promise, but unreliable . . . . Power Failed . . . leaving me in the lurch . . . luckily, I had my old faithful Tom-Tom to see me to my destination. . .Gave it several chances to redeem itself , , , but it failed every time . . . not a temperature dependent issue.Just poor Design/ manufacture !

hi my sat nav came 2 days ago. quick delivery, and smart looking. I've only used it once so far, but so far so good. Its better than my old tom tom and a lot cheaper.

had trouble loading maps / acquiring satellites at first. aAl seems ok now, not used in anger yet.still unsure why companies insist on making what is advertised as a sat nav a multi functional device. If I wanted an e-reader photo album etc I would buy a tablet! Surely the saving on memory etc could be used to improve map quality and speed of connection / updates.
