Sheaffer100 Fountain Pen Brushed Chrome Nickel Trim Medium Nib

I really liked this pen initially. It's comfortable to hold, and a nice weight. Then I didn't use it for a while, and the ink in the nib dried out. At first I just refilled it, but it didn't write well at all. Then, I soaked it for a couple of days to make sure there was no dried up ink inside, but it still doesn't write well. Every time I go to use it, there's no ink in the nib until I unscrew it and force ink out by screwing the converter. I have to do this, even when it's just a few hours since I last used it.

Nice fountain pen at a reasonable cost.

I can only say that after owning a few Parker pens I purchased the "100" in the matte blue finish to use with sheaffer Blue ink. I was so impressed that I ordered this colour almost immediately. I am getting the Matte Black next as they are the Best performing Fountain pens that I have encountered. I own a Waterman but these can hold their own against the hemisphere anyday> Buy one and you will not be disappointed.

Nice pen, and nicely presented. Does it write well? I don’t know. Despite the advert saying the pen comes with two cartridges, it didn’t! So, I have a nice pen but no ink. Isn’t a problem ordering some cartridges, but a little frustrating being sent something that can’t work immediately.Hopefully, will become a five-star review when the ink cartridges I’ve now ordered, arrive.....

This is a very nice pen. The nib is around narrow/medium in my heavy hand. It wasn't a problem to write with from the start although it settled in a bit after writing a couple of pages.

Best fountain pen ever used, nice weight, never missed a stroke writes first time every time. I am glad l purchased this pen.

An excellent product as to be expected of the Sheaffer line
