Big Phonics Workbook (Usborne Very First Reading) Paperback – 1 Jun. 2012

It's a nice book for practicing phonics, the illustrations are nice, it's a thick book and it has quite a lot of material. One thing I would ctiticize, is the fact that some of the letter children are to practice the letters are on a colored background, to dark I would say to write on it, blue or green...I would prefer if the area where the letter are to be written was white for all letters. The letters are not in cursive format.

Got this book for a four year old, it is good letter writing fun, she enjoys saying the sounds of the letter while writing them, the book is colourful and eyecatching, and the stickers are a bonus, the letters are not cursive but she found that easier and also worked for listening to begining sounds

Such a great help when teaching my daughter to read in English!

Brilliant book, bought for 5 and 6 year old, as supplements for our homeschooling. Good activities and stickers to keep them interested in the learning.

My daughter actually asks to do this book so that's all the praise it needs!Bright colours, nice stickers and good activities.

My son loves this book and the pictures are great. A good introduction to writing for young kids. Like the way the letters fit into the pictures to make them more memorable.
