A good quality tub of glass-headed pins. They are strong, sharp and don't bend when used for what they are designed, i.e. dressmaking or, in my case, hemming curtains. The glass tops mean you can see them before you find them with your foot, also making them easy to pick out from my large tub that also includes needles into which I have decanted the two packs I have purchased. The glass tops are well finished, smooth to the touch and lack any sharp edges that I have found common with alternative brands. These tick all of the boxes for me.

I bought these for two reasons, one I needed to replace quite a few of mine that were pretty rubbish and two because I needed ones that could be ironed without destroying my fabric. They are as they say, iron safe. No problems there. They are very sharp and cause no pulls or anything in the fabric like the cheaper ones I bought off here. The only thing is, they bend if you're not careful and not with too much force neither. Apart from that, which is an ok trade off, they are everything I needed!

Have bought these pins before so I knew they were great. Glass heads that are ok if you iron over them and pins are smoothe, sharp heads and nice and long. Will never buy cheap pins again, there is no comparison.

Just right, a bit longer than other pins I have and the coloured heads make them easier to see and grab hold of, the box seems to be upside down (sticker is on base and not the lid) so its easy to open the wrong way and pins end up everywhere so I have put them in a different container, sorted

Glass headed pins are an essential part of any dressmakers toolkit and these are of excellent quality. Glass headed are better than plastic headed pins as it means that you can iron over them without the risk of them melting. Obvious I know but not always something you think of when buying such a basic item.

Good quality pins...just the right length for general dressmaking. Glass heads better than plastic when it comes to pressing textiles.

Lovely mixture of coloured heads. They have just arrived and I have placed some in a pin cushion. Went in smoothly. Very fine but strong

Perfect for dress alterations! I can actually see these pins and they don’t bend half has much as the other plain pins!
