Aqua Forte ACO 318 Air Pump Reciprocating Compressor 3600 l/h

Brilliant air pump, bought to replace a failed 25l/min Boyu unit. This has over twice the output and is no more noisy. I chose standard free delivery and the pump arrived within 3 days to the sunny Isle of Wight. Highly recommend pump and the seller.

I purchased this compressor to make an air assist for a laser printer. The air flow is good and cleans out the debris during cutting and reduces scorching on the wood, but the compressor is very loud. Luckily its in a separate building to noise isn't an issue.

This air pump seems to produce the specified rating but I have no way of measuring this for certain. It has a sturdy frame I can only assume will be reliable. However, it has two failings; 1. It is extremely noisy. I am using it as an air assist on a laser cutter which is situated in the garage (adjoining the house). Even with the interleading fire door closed I can hear it in other areas of the home.2. It vibrates terribly. So much so that I have had to mount it on rubber vibration dampeners. Prior to this it was mounted on the table, and this noise added to the mechanical noise, was LOUD.This pump, in my opinion, is not for internal use. And it is certainly not for a fish tank situated where you watch TV or listen to the radio.

This is now an identical replacement for a failed one that had been purchased elsewhere about 15 years ago at about twice the cost. The main reason for me to purchase another is for its size as I am limited to the space in an outside electrical box.Noise wise they are fairly noisy but do the job ok aerating 40cm depth in pond filter bays etc. (this one runs 4 large spherical air stones.)No point in mentioning all the tech specs that can be found elsewhere, But what is worth a mentioning is that of spare parts that seem to be non existent. Aside from easily swappable filter wool material under the black end cap (air input).Yes they do run rather warm so hence the outside metal body to dissipate heat. Well worth some ventilation.Only 3 star due to the noise & lack of spares.

Ich habe diesen kleinen Kompressor als Alternative zum teuren Air Assist vom Hersteller meines Lasers bestellt.Und was soll ich sagen, dieser Kompressor kostet wirklich nur einen Bruchteil dessen, was ein Air Assist beim Hersteller meines Lasers kostet und ist aber so viel besser und langlebiger!Nachdem mir vom teuren Hersteller bereits drei Kompressoren kaputt gegangen sind, habe ich nach einer Alternative gesucht und habe letztlich diesen Kompressor gefunden.Er ist zwar nicht sonderlich hübsch anzusehen, aber arbeitet vergleichsweise leise und mit gleichbleibender Power zuverlässig. Zum Thema Lautstärke: Man muss bedenken, dass dies hier immer noch ein Kompressor ist. Klar macht der Krach und brummt, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Geräten empfinde ich ihn tatsächlich als recht leise. Das Gerät ist recht minimalistisch gestaltet, was für einige vielleicht ein Störfaktor sein kann. Fakt ist, sobald man das Gerät am Strom anschließt, läuft es auch. Es gibt also keinen an- und Ausschalter. Ich habe dieses Problem für mich mit einer ein- und ausschaltbaren Steckdose gelöst die ich sowieso bereits zu Hause hatte.Der Kompressor hat keine Probleme damit, auch mehrere Stunden am Stück bei höherer Raumtemperatur zu arbeiten. Ich habe ihn nun wirklich bereits längere Zeit im Einsatz und habe noch keine Verschlechterung der Leistung feststellen müssen. Der erzeugte Luftstrom ist wirklich perfekt für meinen Einsatz.Für mich ein absolut zuverlässiges Gerät und eine so viel bessere Alternative zu teureren Kompressoren, die zum Laser dazu verkauft werden.Würde ich jederzeit wieder bestellen!

La he instalado en una máquina CO2 de 40w y va ideal, no se calienta y el flujo de aire es perfecto . Recomiendo usar el tubo de silicona de calidad para evitar que se doble y corte el flujo

Acheter pour utilisation Air assist sur un laser S9. Fait le job, très content du résultat obtenu. Néanmoins reste assez bruyant, pas trop gênant dans mon cas puisque mon laser est à la cave. Facile à fixer (sinon il se promène) grâce aux trous de chaque côté des caoutchoucs anti vibrations.
