This is actually really good coffee. I was really looking for coffee that I could order online sometimes when things get hectic that was also small batch, environmentally conscious, and family owned. I first had their coffee at a local bagel shop and decided to try it at home. I worked at a local, coffee shop for seven years while I completed my BA and MS. I drink a lot of coffee.I’ve been looking for a coffee that is sustainably farmed and this company seems to be doing that. The coffee brewed well in my home coffee pot (it’s a pour over flat bottom filter pot with a glass lined carafe). The flavor was good. It’s not acidic at all. Really easy flavor. People who came over liked drinking it. And a friend put cream in it and that seemed to work. I’ve been drinking it black.I’ll buy again, and I’m interested to try some of the other roasts.

Have tried many many coffee beans for my espresso coffee making. This is one of my few favorites. A med-Dark roast with complexity. The fashionable over hyped coffee roasts, and there are many, like Blue Bottle and others, are fads and arenot for people who like rich Italian espressos. The Pacific Valley Coffee is my favorite, but Teodoro Italian from Nossa Familia is second on the list.

I purchased this for my husband for his birthday. They started getting this coffee at his workplace and he liked it so much he had to ask around to find out what kind it was. This coming from a man who just drinks whatever is brewing. Flavor is an afterthought until he sips a cup that actually tastes good! I had to get him some when they switched brands at work.

This is one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. And currently the coffee I drink exclusively. My favorites include: Mathilde’s (The flavor is very complex but not bitter or over powering; smoked chocolate coffe.) Delica (an Italian roast that even the Italians would like; its good!) and Teodoro’s (Also great).There are many roast types and flavors to choose from. The business is family owned and best of all they give hugs to the environment and their workforce.

I was not that impressed with these coffee beans. I prefer a stronger more rich coffee. It was quite mild for a medium to dark roast bean. As It brewed on a rich brew setting on my coffee maker the coffee was way too light for my taste. If you prefer a light, mild brew this is definitely the coffee for you.

I love this product, but the bag of coffee I received in June was roasted over 8 months ago - I was shocked. The price point is too high to get away with sending 8.5 month old coffee beans.

We love this coffee! The first time we had it at their cafe in Portland two years ago. My husband hates coffee and he thought his drink was amazing. We finally found it on amazon and were ecstatic because Portland is an hour and a half away from where we live.

I am from Portland and was home visiting when they had just opened their first shop. Got a taste and have never found one I like more. I drink others because I live in NYC and can’t get this here. I used to pack my bags with it when flying back, but now I can get on Amazon, so don’t need to. Though I’ll still probably bring a couple. ;)
