A great product. I was miserable with hair colour reaction
A great product. I was miserable with hair colour reaction. This has served as a revolution in this field. It is PPD and PTD free. I think all beginners should use it too. No allergy nor any harm.

Couldn't use it in its own so useless buying it!i think when selling this product you should make it aware to the customer that other products are needed with it.

Safe to use with my PPD allergy
I bought the medium brown. My hair was a level 6- light brown before colouring. (Prelightened to this colour) However, my hair has turned very very dark brown...almost black.Luckily I don't mind this since I only stopped colouring my hair black when I developed a PPD and TDS allergy.I thought this was worth a try and I didn't react to a patch test. The science behind this colorant is well worth a read which you will find on Google.I haven't had any reaction at all to this and so far, it's colored every hair very well...even stubborn greys. If you do your research, you'll realise you need a developer. I used a 6% since I wanted to colour and cover...not lighten. Developer lotion is cheap to buy. After a few washes, I will update as to how well the colour holds or fades.Fabulous for sufferers who are allergic to PPD and TDS and can't use the darker colours

Be careful...
Be careful!!!! For years I have dyed my hair dark (naturally a blonde). One day I developed a severe allergy to dark hair dye; I would become very ill feeling, rashy and my throat would feel tight. I assumed I was allergic to PPD. I had my hair stylist do a patch test with Koleston Innosense by Wella (the supposedly "hypoallergenic, ppd free hair dye displayed at the end of this article). The patch test showed no allergy, and I had my hair dyed with the Koleston innosense. Everything went very well.... BUT.... I went back to have my roots touched up again with the koleston innosense (in the same color: deep brown/black), this time skipping the patch test. GUESS WHAT?! An allergic reaction so severe I visited the doctor and the hospital. Its been almost 3 days since the dye job and I'm still itchy, slightly swollen and experiencing tightness of throat. The real issue is , that once you develop an allergy to an ingredient in hair dye, you are sensitized to many other chemicals as well... meaning you develop more allergies. Do not assume you are ONLY allergic to PPD!!! and PLEASE get a patch (on yourself, or have your stylist do it) test EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. you dye your hair, even if it's the same brand.
