Meguiar's Marine RV 49 Boat Oxidation Remover M4916 473ml Heavy Duty Cleaner

My motorhome was looking tired. Chalky abd glat dull. Used this with drill polish pads and (after 4 days of work due to size of the motorhome) I cab now see my reflection perfectly all over! Shiny and beautiful again. I used the quick wax spray after and it makes washing it a breeze now. Used maybe 2/3 bottle of this for entire motorhome exterior excluding the roof. Is reasonably easy to use. Less is definitely more though and WIPE OFF BEFORE IT DRIES. Would highly recommend this.

used with machine polisher worked well on light hull gelcoat marks - just a pity its so expensive !

Has brought back the shine on the parts of my motor home which had oxidised. Also works well on scratch marks. But quite expensive.

This is like a stronger version of T-Cut, but about twice the price.I found that it was easier/more cost effective to use T-Cut for the general works, and Halfords cutting paste for the heavily soiled areas. Similarly with polish!

Used together with the other components of the three stage restoration kit this will bring back to life dull gelcoat paintwork on the fibreglass sections of your motorhome.You will need plenty of time, good quality cleaning clothes and bags of stamina and enthusiasm. The payback for this will a deep lustre that you won't find on a lot of secondhand showroom models. I have restored the paintwork of several motorhomes that were deemed beyond help as someone else had tried with the wrong cleaners. The film remover comes in several grades and I use the mild and heavy duty ones dependent upon the state of the gelcoat. Once you have the area cleared of all the powdery residue add the polish and apply and buff this until you have the lustre you desire then add the pure wax which will give you a deeper lustre and finish. I top this coat up a couple of times a year to protect the gelcoat finish.I have no affiliation or connection to Meguiars (unfortunately) and my comments are based upon my experience with the product.

Having perchased a bottle of Meguiars Premium Marine Wax which gave a brilliant shine but wasn't particularly great at removing oxidation from my boat's hull, I decided to give this product a try. It's like "T-Cut" for boats and I found it to be a little harsh on the old boat's gel coat, so use it sparingly and then finish off with the marine wax.I'm hoping that the combination of the two products will help protect the boat through the rest of the summer and next winter.

Bought this to spruce up the badly oxidated gel coat on our boat.I expected to have to do several passes but to my surprise after a single pass we have that as new shine back.Finished off with a coat of the cleaner wax product and it looks great.I had also bought the polish but dont think it's really needed as the oxidation remover gives a really good shine alone.

It’s work, but so worth it! Brought the shine back to our 32’ fifth wheel RV. Bugs and dirt wash off much easier when it’s not oxidized. The sun is brutal on RV exteriors. I’ll be doing it once a year with this product to keep the RV nice looking. Plus it takes less work when done annually. In the pics the left side shows the “before”, and you can see the oxidation. The right side is the “after” application, it’s shiny and reflective where this product was used. Works as well by hand as it does using an orbital device, so the edges, like around windows and narrow spots, where you have to apply it by hand look the same as where the orbital device was used. We polish the product off by hand. Best not to do it in full sun as it can dry too fast, which doesn’t allow as much polishing time, and requires more product to get the desired result. I definitely recommend this product.

Cumple todo lo que dice. Quito sin esfuerzo y a mano 6 marcas de metal sobre el gelcoat y dos pequeñas rayas sin esfuerzo y con poca cantidad de producto. Parece como si fuera mostaza pero al entrar en contacto con el gelcoat limpia y deja brillante toda la superficie tratado. Un éxito total.
