JEM Deck Chair Cutters, Set of 3

These cutters are a great idea but as you have to roll your paste out so thin (especially the legs) to obtain clean cuts they are very very fragile. I wanted 2 chairs and thought I'd err on the side of caution and cut out 8 legs, 2 sets of 4, boy am I pleased I did as 5 legs broke so I ended up resting one side on a shell in the sand to hold it up, don't think anyone noticed.The overall effect was very pleasing.

These cutters are not easy to use. I am an experienced cake decorator and had difficulty removing the paste without damaging. The whole thing is too small in my opinion making the construction very fiddly and the chair very fragile. Also difficult if you want to make a person figure to scale. I looked for a larger size but there does not appear to be one.Hard to roll the struts to the exact size to fit holes. Had several attempts at creating the chair over a number of days and gave up in the end .Not recommended unless you are highly skilled and very patient!

Too flimsy and breaks at the least touch. Unable to assemble ... very disappointing. Would have returned as it simply does not work (after several attempts) but the return window is now closed.

I know that this was a very cheap product. However, is was completely useless to me. The padded envelope was more useful. It was not as the picture and was simply 3 plastic shapes with poor instructions.

Excellent delivery and packaging. I'm an experienced cake maker and cake decorator but found this very difficult to get sugarpaste out. Very fiddly and not suitable for anyone inexperienced with sugarpaste

Unable to use it as I cannot get the ingredients needed to make the gum paste here in France - I wasn't clear that I needed something other than a fondant icing.

Too fiddly.
