Bad sound quality, and the display is too dim for outdoor use.
I was happy to find a transmitter with a rechargeable battery, plus 4 different audio sources (BT, TIF, LINE, and MIC). All the audio sources work good, the Bluetooth connects good, and the battery has good life. But unfortunately, the music sound quality is bad. It might be OK for vocal broadcasts, like church sermons or something, but not for your favorite music. The bass is distorted, and there's a slight background hiss. I read the FAQ, I tried all the suggestions, I tried every audio source, and I tried different input and output levels. But the sound just isn't very good. Maybe something is wrong with the one I received? I don't know. Unfortunately the return period had already ended before I had used it enough to learn about its shortcomings. Also, the display is too weak to read outdoors. I have to go into a dim room to read it.

I like it, I like it a lot - perfect for my use
I use this primarily to transmit TV audio to various places in my house. I have in the past, spent a lot of money on Bluetooth, rather expensive speakers, they are good, but often add an echo effect if you (can) use two at the same time along with the TV audio speakers.Enter plain old FM radio. Good frequency response, fairly cheap, battery operated receivers available, and ... you are able to have an unlimited amount of receivers without any weird echo effects as with Bluetooth. This transmitter is now permanently connected to my 4K TV.I found that in my 1500 sq ft house, the lowest power setting on the FMUSER 1W works well.I like this FMUSER 1W transmitter and would/will definitely recommend it to a friend.

Good quality transmitter for LPFM/LPON use
Bought this FM transmitter for use with a low-power open narrowcasting (LPON) licence.Setting the unit up is straightforward, and the user manual is easy to understand. However, the LED display is very dim, and can be extremely difficult to use outdoors, even on an overcast day. Even when used indoors, you may need to turn the lights down/off to see what you're doing.Sound quality and frequency stability is very good, as long as you don't overload the device. This can be easily fixed by either reducing the volume on the transmitter or the sound level of the source. Whilst the form factor is small and it's not marketed as a professional grade product, it's highly competitive with 1RU 1W professional transmitters. As well as standard RCA inputs, this unit supports TF (MicroSD) and Bluetooth. I've not tested this unit with either of these inputs, but it works well with RCA.Battery power is a bonus, and this device can run for around 4 hours before needing a recharge. Ideal for staying on air during power outages, as well as for use at sporting events and the like. For a low budget, low power FM radio station, this FMUSER 1W FM transmitter does what it says on the packet. For an operator with multiple low power FM licences looking to set up a network of stations, this may be a very cost effective option. It also works as an exciter with a power amp, which could be useful for higher power community/public radio stations with tiny budgets. The only caveat is longevity. We've only been using this unit for a few months, but we don't expect it to last as long as a professional grade transmitter. That said, one can buy about 8 of these for the price of one pro-grade 1W transmitter. If a pro-grade transmitter has a lifespan of 20 years of continuous use, and the FMUSER 1W has a lifespan of 3 years under the same conditions, you'll still come out in front in the long run.

Part 15 compliant in low power mode but it can go up to 1 Watt
I love that it came with a memory card and all the parts needed to go on-the-air right away! It's more than a "whole house" range on high setting - I get about 12 city blocks. Sound quality is great. FMUSER is a great company - I've bought from them before and always a good experience! Highly recommended. I'll update the review when necessary.

This unit does exactly what the manufacturer says it will do
Plug and play! (PUT THE ANTENNA IN FIRST BEFORE YOU EVEN PLUG IT IN!)Turned it on, set the frequency, adjusted the modulation - and BAM! It works like a charm. Keep any mixer boards away from the unit, keep out of direct sunlight, use the correct microphone, and do not overmodulate the unit.FMUSER has a great product and they care about the customer.

Very happy with this purchase
I purrchased this FM transmitter to set up an outdoor theater so that I wouldn't bother the neighboors when playing movies. So far it has worked very good. The reception is slightly noisy when there is no source material playing, but when music or a movie is playing it sounds very good. Was able to cover the backyard without any issues with it.

Perfect for Drive-in Movie sound!
I purchased this to replace a much older FM transmitter I use for drive-in movies. The sound was clear and covered the range of the entire parking lot. I also like that it can be run entirely from a battery so there aren't any ground hum issues like I've had in other transmitters.
