Is it unstopable .
This is a smashing film ,keeps u glued u find yourself leaning when the trains nearly coming off the track.Denzel Washington is the train driver n Chris Pine is the green conductor they r the main players .This film is based on true events . Two track engineers who r basicley lazy beggers get a39car train going without connecting the brakes !! The 1 who's actually driving the train to move off the main track jumps out of the cab to pull the leaver so the train can move to a safe area. But as usual something goes wrong The train starts getting faster and the engineer nose dives into the gravel attempting to get back on.Now there's a runaway .After numerous attempts to try n stop the train ,Denzel n Chris go after the 777 train in reverse. There's underlying issues with both Denzel and Chris to make the film more interesting.+Connie hooper the track boss ,and the Mr Galvin ,Boss at head office to make the film entertaining. Will they stop the train ?? You will have to watch it.See if u can see the only part of the film which I found a bit of a let down its near the end .If u were keeping in touch with the driver n conductor of the rescuing train u would let them know every scrap of info that would be of advantage not just watch til some one asks u ??? it's just a bit irritating in what basicley a bob on film.👍

Fantastic Movie
Full on fast action from beginning to end with plenty of suspense all the way through, with the terror running here and there makes it even better. A runaway train and with problems attached, of cause we need them otherwise it wouldn't be a fabulous movie. Trying to stop the train isn't going to be easy, now the end well I'm not telling you as to spoil a great show with the actors and storyline being fantastic what else do you want. I rated this an A grade plus for edge of the seat entertainment with nail biting scenes included as well. A compelling show that you must stay put until the very end so take this ride with Denzel and see if you agree. Now move on pick up the popcorn and retire to the lounge relax with the pillow and put your feet up, Don't forget the movie, now for a fabulous night in with sheer action and suspense that holds you in place. Enjoy!

Unstoppable might not be adrenaline fuelled, but it is an extremely watchable flick.
Unstoppable might not be adrenaline fuelled, but it is an extremely watchable flick. The collaborations between the late Tony Scott and Denzel Washington were not going to set the world on fire. Yet I keep getting drawn back to them. The competence both behind the camera and on screen makes for thrilling films, and Unstoppable is no different. A train is left stupidly on full throttle and is unmanned. Carrying hazardous cargo, two train drivers take it upon themselves to stop this train from potentially killing thousands. It does sound ridiculous, right? You would be correct. Now I'm no train expert but you would think you could remotely stop a train these days? Regardless, I find this to be fun. I can always watch this and not become bored. It's not everyday someone compares a train to a missile, just that alone puts a smile on my face (evidently I'm sadistic). What prevents this from being a mind numbingly boring action flick is the focus on troubled personal lives. Washington and Pine's characters both have difficult times away from work, and its through them discussing this that they actually bond closer. The impending doom as Dawson's sassy yet professional character consistently exclaims "6 minutes!" or "it's just passed milestone 46, you gotta hurry up!" in order to create thrills. Slightly uninspired but it does the trick. All the performances were competent, nothing outstanding but it gets the job done. The different techniques in order to try and halt this train were interesting to say the least. Derailing it, forcing a train ahead of it to try and slow it down, shooting at a tiny switch...some real genius work there...! Scott's direction was fast and frantic which assisted in maintaining the adrenaline, safe to say he did have a unique style which I fully appreciated. Look, you'll either watch Unstoppable thinking "I say, this is absolute tosh!" or you could sit back, relax and just enjoy what's on screen. Please be the latter, because this is a good time and y'know...not every film needs to be extraordinary.

A masterpiece of an action movie.
There's nothing stunningly original about the central (only) plot; driverless train loaded with toxic chemicals speeding towards heavily populated area, another train loaded with school kids etc. etc. This film could easily be relegated to the already swollen ranks of dire Channel Five afternoon movies but that is never going to happen - this film is absolutely brilliant. If you were feeling cynical then you could just tally up all of the standard action movie tick boxes; they're all there - experienced old-timer, new recruit, corporate bean-counters, broken marriages, police cars crashing, stuff going bang and, of course, a huge train. It is, however, totally impossible to not enjoy this film. The cast are superb, the pace is absolutely relentless, the tension builds steadily to an almost unsustainable level and, despite an utterly predictable ending all you can say as the credits roll is `Wow, what a fantastic film'.
