search feature, no change font, no mobile devices
This was a great text book to use. I could use it on my laptop and ipad. I loved the search feature. It made it easy to find sources for points my professor made during lecture. However you can't change font size like other e books and it doesn't work on mobile devices like my phablet note 2. I would have loved to read on the road when I had free time.I would buy another etextbook

Tough but Rewarding
One of the best books I have studied. It has long chapters and is pretty hard to read, but it is very descriptive and a truly great way to begin learning about teaching. The class I used this book for was one of the more difficult ones in my university, but if you actually read this book you will do fine.

A solid investment
I have found that this book is succinct, easy to read, and loaded with brand new up to date research about child psychology and development. It also does a very good job explaining the various theories (Piaget, Vygotsky, Bronfrenbrennner, Gardner, etc.) It is filled with photographs, charts, graphs and other visuals, and is well organized. Overall worth buying if you are going into childhood education.

Make sure you read everything before you buy….
I didn't. I expected a bound book. But what I got was okay. I had to buy a sturdy binder, but as it turns out, I didn't have to lug this text around. If you have a crate on wheels, go with my binder idea. If you prefer bound books, make sure it doesn't say "LOOSE LEAF" on the product description. Apparently "Student Value" means there's a catch to it...The textbook itself is a completely and utterly worth having if you'll be working with children. It is loaded with case studies and responses by various educators on how to approach and deal with these situations.

Highly Practical, but a Little Dense
This textbook has SO MUCH information in it. On one hand it is great- after we cover material in my Educational Psychology class I can find more information in this book- but on the other hand this textbook is very dense, and processing the material takes forever. I find it way too time consuming to take notes (our readings are 40-50 pages a class), so I have relied on looking through the material a couple of times. If you are looking to brush over educational psychology quickly this is not your book, but if you are planning a thorough review of material this book would be great.

Great work by Anita Woolfolk
Great work by Anita Woolfolk. Very comprehensive content coverage. But one suggestion is, the Table of Content needs to be detailed one. It is very difficult to find out relevant topic. The book is having very good illustrations, but the images are in black and white. Paper quality also should be improved. Thank You.
