Sugar & Gluten Free - Simpkins Traditional Travel Sweets Tin 175g (Ginger)

I just adore the taste of ginger, and to get it in this sugar-free form is a true delight. These sweets are just right, providing a nice ginger tingle to the palate. I ordered them on the strength that they are not saturated with sugar - something that other ginger confections don't seem to be allowed to exist without - and am so glad that I did. I don't require them to calm my my stomach, as I am fortunate in not suffering from travel sickness or any thing like that - I just love ginger. Polyols provide the modest amount of sweetness in them but it's the ginger that dominates the taste. I will definitely be getting some more. They are really lovely as an occasional treat - if consumed in moderation.Eamonn

I was hoping this had the strong ginger flavour that the ginger chews have without the chewiness. But the ginger flavour is mild and it just tastes sweet like a lolly. Since I purchased it to help with nausea, it hasn't been much help. I had to go back to the ginger chews.

Long journeys don't agree with me or my family. But these really help take the edge off car sickness. Strong flavour. As long as you like ginger I highly recommend these sweets.

Good for clearing a fuzzy throat before singing, also tasty and refreshing

Nice flavour sweets (definite strong ginger with nice caramalised 'sugar' underflavour but not overly spicy which is good) in a decent sized tin but don't order these in a hurry, they arrived well after the 4/5 day estimated postage and took 17 days to reach me!

Got these as i sometimes feel sick after eating. They take that feeling away. Quite a strong ginger taste😋

Opened it before reading the ingredients unfortunately. It’s super difficult also to ope. But even worse: How can the label say sugar free and the next line is sugar?

Very nice and calming. Have a strong taste of ginger which I really like.
