A must see for any lover of Stones Throw Records and Hip-Hop culture.

Eine Doku über Stones Throw, ok..... gekauft, auf Play gedrückt.Und ich bekomme wie erwartet.... alte Fotos, Videoaufnahmen und Interviews dazu wie damals alles anfing. Na logisch. Derbe Respekt Alter. Ja, was soll ich sagen.... Stones Throw ist ein dolles Label, stimmt, und hat bisher überlebt, yep, trotz unverändertem "Indie" Status. Bingo. Und ganz klasse Künstler hatten die im Repertoire sogar inkl ein paar echter Legenden, ich sag nur J Dilla. Hut ab. Yep. Und auch heute noch sind da nette Kameraden dabei.... und man schaut sogar (wie jeher) über den tellerrand hinaus, ja wie wärs mit Dam Funk? Gut, nicht waahr??Die Doku ist kurzweilig und unterhaltsam, informativ wird sie sein, wenn man noch nix oder wenig von Stones Throw weiß. Wirklich spannend ist das ganze aber so oder so nicht. Aber wie gesagt kurzweilig und unterhaltsam. Und wie ich mich gerade wiederhole, so wiederholt sich auch hier das eine oder andere auch wenn es nicht gerade nervt, Ist schon ok. ;)

Super documentaire sur l'histoire du label Stones throw et des fondateurs Peanut Butter Wolf & Charizma, c'est une des institutions du hip hop/abstract hip hop : Madlib, Quasimoto, Jaylib, Yesterdays New Quintet et Madvillain... A voir absolument !!!

A fantasticly insightful and emotional journey through the history of the label. More of a story about people and friendship, I think this'd be enjoyed even if you've never heard of stones throw!

FANTASTIC,JOURNEY,through the the vinyl, collection,from AN avid collector! Some,weird and,wonderful musical gems,to delight discerning ears! A MASTER PIECE,OF MUSICAL GENIUS!

Lovely little documentary for lovers of good indie music and especially Stones Throw. Uplifting to see that people are still making music for the love of it, supporting artistically brave left field choices and not churning out stuff for commercial reasons. Music needs Peanutbutter Wolf.
