I have quite a large dog, he's a German shepherd / Labrador cross. This harness adjusts large enough to fit him comfortably and not tight.It has a nice design with a pattern on it that has a purple colour depending on how the light hits it and reflective strips which are good at this darker time of year.It seems to be made of a good strong material and has a useful handle on it too and an extra clip underneath along with a loop to hang maybe a light for dark walks.I would recommend this harness.

This is a very good harness.It arrived in a plastic zipped bag, so that when you have finished walking your dog, you actually have somewhere to store it, as opposed to hanging on a hook, or shoving in a drawer, so it doesn't get damaged. The front/underbody part fits well, as does the back, where the lead would go.It fitted our dog extremely well. He is a staffy cross boxer, so you can guess he's a chunky, large dog. You can change the length of the straps very easily, and then it's very quick to put on the dog.He hadn't been out for his walk the day before, so we took him out to test how the 'pull' on the lead/harness would be. Fair to say, it's a marked improvement over a lot of harnesses, where you pull the dog back, and they start to choke. This one had none of that.One great addition is the handle on the top. This is used however you want to, but the main way is to hold your dog back. As our dog is very strong, usually with other harnesses, this is when you choke the dog if you're trying to pull him back, plus with a lot of other harnesses, you have nothing really to grab onto if anything goes wrong. But this one had the handle. It's extremely sturdy, no choke, and the harness never slipped.The pocket at the front, which has velcrose to close it, is probably good for a couple of poo bags, useful 'just in case you run out'.There is an additional lead attachment on the front of the chest part which reduces the chance for him to pull.We also tested this in the dark. The white edges of the harness glow very bright with a torch shone on it, and the leopard/lizard type print also shows up more, as opposed to daytime when its not that visible.Overall, it's a very good harness. Highly recommend it.

So the fact that this harness is adjustable in all 4 directions is exceptionally useful.The harness doesn't have to be fitted by pulling it over your dogs snout and head, which is exceptionally useful with pups who are anxious. Instead you can lay it flat against your dogs back, before attaching the straps in all 4 directions with the sturdy plastic buckles.The two heavy-duty plastic buckles on either side of your dog's chest are sturdy enough to withstand some serious pulling. They come with an added safety feature which allows you to lock the buckles in place so you don't have to worry about your escape artist running off.The colour is true to the picture and really stands out. The reflective material is a nice bonus and does work very well in dimly-lit conditions. The harness itself is padded, yet very breathable so it is gentle against your dog's skin without running the risk of becoming too warm in the summer. The webbing pattern is a nice added touch in my opinion.The added traffic handle on the back, position just behind the D-ring is useful in those situations where you need to keep your dog extra close and gives you just that little bit more control.

I got this for my in laws springer who is a big springer. It fitted him perfectly and works really well. Happy all round.

I ordered this for Bella who is a golden doodle.It’s in the XL but I think maybe a large might’ve been better for her.This is a very nice, very secure harness.The clasps are really robust and safe, and the material while soft is going to last.It has the reflective stitching which is great now the nights here are getting longer. It also has a lovely design on the fabric which is minimal and simple and gives it a clean pleasing look.It has a soft padding so this won’t rub or irritate.There’s a handy handle on the back so if your dog needs a little more control or a helping hand out of the water or into the car you can do this easily. The grip on the handle is soft and easy to get hold of and stay hold of.There are two very strong rings which you can attach your lead to. One at the front if you like the no pull method, or one on the back.There is also a little carry pouch with a strong Velcro fastening on the chest area. There is a chord here if you wished to attach your belongings safely.The harness is breathable and dries quickly when plunged through a stream!Its very good value and well made and finished. I felt my dog was very safe and secure.Would recommend.

This is a lovely well made harness. The harness is well balanced with padding in all the right places. Not too skimpy, but not too puffy that it is impossible to dry out either. The straps and clasps are wide, sturdy and a good size to prevent any cutting in. The leash points are solid alloy finished with a matt look. These wont be rusting or breaking any time soon. They feel good quality. I also love the reflective detail, the pattern is superb and the outer lines are very distinctive in the dark. The handle is soft on the hands but still has enough strength to hold when needed to pull the dog back. I really like this harness and feel it is worthy of its £19.99 price tag.
