These strings of Spanish Guindilla chillies are 35 inches long and made up of 200 chillies, each one about 4 or 5 inches in length. The Ristra is very impressive to look at, and each ristra weighs around 1kg. They will look fantastic hanging in your kitchen, and will last for years - so long as they don't get damp and are not exposed to direct sunlight. These chillies are a medium-heat chilli. Grind them to a powder for cooking, or tear into strips and soak in hot water for 20 minutes or so, then mash or liquidise to add to a recipe - good for adding to a fresh salsa or a pasta sauce to add colour, flavour (tones of lemon, dried fruit and tomato).
