I am all for proper storage, so this Omi Labs Kit was definitely on the list of consideration when I shopped for an external battery charger for our smartphones and tablets. Glad I made the decision to purchase this. I was pleasantly surprised with, and love this kit's packaging, it is classy and definitely gift giving worthy. Plus the kit comes with a wall charger!This kit is compact enough to bring along on trips. I am not tech savvy but I feel its performance is great and has yet to disappoint -- 10000mAh seems sufficient to keep up with the constant demand of a family of 4 on the run for at least a day or more before requiring a recharge. We've only used this on Apple products so I have no way to confirm how well this works for other devices.The only tiny flaw I find with this kit (and this is my personal preference), is that I wish the USB charge cable provided here is a tad longer. It makes me nervous to see the battery is "hanging" from the wall outlet while being charged, as strange enough at our home we don't have too many available outlets closer to a proper surface or ground where the battery can safely land on.FYI my digital kitchen scale shows the battery itself weighs 8.6 oz, and the entire kit weighs 11.8 oz.

I choose a 5 star because it really works! I ran into a few problems but the support service was quick to respond to my e-mail and talk me through it! I bought it to charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. Being this was my 1st travel charger I wish I would have bought a higher rated charger. The 10000mAh might be great for smaller electronics.But for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet it charges very slow. I had to use my own usb cord to charge my tablet. I does come with a few other adapters. oh the case that you put in for travel very sturdy and built with quality. Would I recommend it to somebody else? Yes, but if you're going to use it for like a big tablet get something with more juice!

At first, I was debating if I should get a smaller charger for convenience, or a bigger charger with more juice. I'm glad I decided to invest in this charger as I travel a lot on business trips, and this charger is compact enough and provides the much needed power for my travels.I use it to charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I was able to get 2 full charges (from < 5%), which is awesome, considering the Note 2 has a humongous battery pack,and this is enough to last me a weekend without hunting around for wall outlets during meetings or conferences.The charging itself is very fast. I feel that it is at least 2X or 3X faster than my regular wall charger. This is especially helpful when you need a crucial quick charge and go.It comes with a very sturdy and durable travel carrying case, which is very handy for us who travels a lot, knowing that my gadget is well protected. There's a pouch in the case that holds the wall adapter, as well the different adapters for different devices (for example i-devices), so I don't have to worry about forgetting the cables/adapters as I am very forgetful.The LED light has not been of use for me yet, I believe it may be handy at times if I remember this functionality.As others have mentioned, here are some improvements that could make the product better:1. Longer charging cable2. Indicator light to change color to warn user to recharge unitOverall, this is a great and quality product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a battery charger with lots of juice.

I've gone through my fair share of external & portable chargers, and this one seems to work the best for me. I travel often and so I need something that is portable with a long battery life. My iPhone is older, and so the battery drains faster than I want. This is a great product because it keeps my phone charged all day.Pros:- Love that it comes with a travel case, so I can easily pack it and be sure that I have everything I need- It works faster than my car charger so I actually take it with me in the car and have it charge there- Small enough to fit into a medium sized purse- Doesn't need to be recharged often. I used it everyday for about a week and it was still working great- Charges 2 things at once (so I don't need to bring my iPhone and iPad wall charger when I travel)

- Love that this battery pack and the connectors comes in a case. Too often had I lost a cable and now I am glad that I can just pick up the case with everything in it and out the door.- It comes with a USB power brick! So I could leave my original power brick at home. I don't think I saw other similar battery packs have this additional power brick.- The high battery capacity really comes in handy. I was 1st debating whether to get a smaller battery pack, but since this one comes with 2 ports and more juice, I could charge my iPhone and my boy friend's iPhone simultaneously.- Great customer service. I had some questions after the purchase and got feedback very quickly.- I only wish that the USB-microUSB cable that's used to charge the battery pack is longer. But since I have an extra cable,I'm using my ownDefinitely would recommend this to folks that travel often!

I saw a friend using this and I had to have one for myself. It's amazing! the charger works fabulously well and holds a lot of power. I travel constantly and it's great knowing that I always have a reliable power source, especially when everyone mobs outlets. Fits into my purse well and holds multiple chargers, highly recommend.
