Great bass
The WinnerGear Rumba headphones are at the lower price range (sub £30) and at this point are absolutely superb. They come extremely well presented in a retail box and not only include additional earbuds or varying sizes (which is standard) they also come with a pocket sized case to keep them in, as you can see in the photo below.Features: the Rumbas have a fabric cord which reduces them tangling and an inline remote (the usual one press pause, 2 press forward, 3 press back, hold for tracks - on an iPhone/iPod). Note that there is no volume control on the remote which is ok at the price but would have been useful. The design is pretty nice, quite understated with Rumba lettering plus L and R.Comfort: very nice firm in the ear, they block out the vast majority of background sound so are perfect for a commute. I didn't get any discomfort at all (they feel better than the V-Moda ZNs I have).Sound: the most important thing of course. Using my standard Hip Hop setting there was a very noticeable bass element, perhaps not surprising as the strapline is "Boost the Bass". I switched the EQ to Pop and the sound was more balanced, and very, very good (always be prepared to play with EQ settings - they make a big difference). They handled Nirvana, Beatles and Adele very well, giving crisp sound, much better than I excepted at the price. If you're out and about and want to block out the world these are absolutely spot on.Overall a great set of earbud headphones and very well presented.Highly recommendednb: I received the headphones in order to give an honest, unbiased review

A decent set of headphones but worth thinking about whether the emphasis on bass suits your musical tastes
There are lots of nice touches with the Rumba earphones. They come in lovely packaging - attractive to look at and easy to open - and are supplied with a handy round carry case. The fabric cable is good quality and the earphones themselves are clearly labelled Left and Right. That's handy, though I prefer earphones which take an extra step in convenience and are shaped in a way that lets you easily figure out by touch which is left and which is right when taking them out of a pocket or case. That's much more convenient than having to look to see, even when the labels are big and clear as on these. When trying out the review set I was sent, I have mostly used them to listen to audio books and podcasts. The audio quality for the spoken word is very good, with the earphones fitting snugly and the quality well up with what you could expect from more expensive earphones. The one downside is that the earphones can be quite noisy if you adjust them in your ear - there is often quite a lot of incidental noise when your fingers touch the earphones. For music, which is usually more demanding on the quality of earphones, I'd say they are good for where they are in the market. They are not premium headphones with quality to match, but the music is noticeably richer than with my usual pair of cheaper headphones. That said, the emphasis on the earphones being "best bass" isn't an emphasis which will be useful for everyone's mix of music.

It's not all about that bass, 'bout that bass
I've used these now whilst in the house, walking to work and on the train. I was sent them for free to review and normally use cheap bluetooth headphones. The audio quality is better than my bluetooth headphones and a huge increase on my normal emergency earphones (which came with one of my past mobiles). Although they aren't noise cancelling, they do a good job of stopping other noises get in. They are sold as "best bass", I'm no expert but the bass did sound better and not at the cost of the other ranges. They are braided which gives a nice feel and helps with pocket knots, but I still ended up with one today. There is no volume control, but an answer/pause button. The earbuds did a good job of staying in my ears the whole time and there are two alternative sizes provided in the storage pouch.Pros====Good sound qualityNice feel and finishSit in my ears perfectlyNo need to worry about battery lifeCons====Not wirelessTangle in my pocketA tad too expensive at £20Overall they won't replace my bluetooth headphones as I'm not keen on the wires, however they will be kept for the dreaded moments when my headphones say "battery low".
