I bought these tights to go with the Horrible Histories Henry VIII costume for my 8 year old son! They are nice and white. They are cotton and thick enough not to see the leg through (which was my worry as he would have thought them way too girly otherwise). I put white shorts over the top, yet underneath the costume and he looked great. If they can last a day on a boy at school re-enacting Henry VIII then that should be recommendation enough.Sizing was good but then my son is average height. If your child is considered taller than average then I’d go a size up.

Bought these in age 8-9 for my granddaughter who is almost 8. They are very big do I ordered size 6-7. I think you need to do a size 7-8 as there is a huge difference in size between the two!
