Fishing Hat Sun Protection

Got this hat for my husband as he wanted something to protect his neck from the sun. The hat looks well-made and should last him a while. The only thing is that it is a bit tight on his head (but he has a very large head). The hat does have a string that can be used to tighten. There is a flap in the back that protects his neck well, and also partly the sides of his face. It does look a bit goofy. Stay tuned for update after Burning Man.

Great hat! Hubs needed it to cover his balding head and neck while working in the yard. He has a fairly large head and this hat fit him snugly, but not so that he felt squeezed. Was able to work a full day and afternoon in the sun without sunburn. I tried it on (small head) and it cinched down to fit me comfortably, too. Overall, and great product for sun protection!

This hat is what it claims to be. It stays on in the wind or if you lean over the side of a boat, offers some shade to the eyes and protects the back of the neck from sun and cold wind.I would be wearing it, but my daughter, who has taken to boating, saw it, wanted it and I gave in, as usual.

This has the long tail that helps protect your neck on sunny days. What I really appreciated is that at the top edge it has an open netted area for airflow so my head doesn't overheat.
