This is my second purchase for a second bathroom. We are restoring an old farmhouse and every space requires pieces that are a bit smaller than the oversized furniture of today's world. While it is surprisingly small out of the box, it actually fits quite perfectly in our narrow bidet closet. I like the silent close and open and we will take care not to stamp on the lever to toss tissue, floss or q-tips as that honestly may damage it. Mostly, I am happy that it's an elegant solution to our five year old rescue pup who suddenly decided she liked browsing our restroom waste baskets. My husband mentioned it takes a few tries to use just the tip of his shoe or toe to open since the lever is small. I took away one star as the lever and the bronze trim around the top are not the same metal and do not match on either of our purchases. Otherwise, I highly recommend and am happy with my purchase.
