Coltsfoot Dried herb 50g The Spiceworks-Hereford Herbs & Spices

I am asthmatic, so I bought this (and a few other lung supportive herbs) to help myself, especially now in these crazy times... Yesterday was a bad day as far as breathing goes, so I brew a cuppa for myself. It is magic! My breathing became easier so fast I almost didn't believe it! My inhaler couldn't do it, coltsfoot saved me. I had a gret night and fairly okay morning. The only thing is with coltsfoot is that it has an alkaloid that can damage the liver. Unfortunately on the bag, there is only a recipe for an infusion is written. Coltsfoot is best taken as a decoction because with the simmering the alkaloid is destroyed. So I am doing that from now on and adding small amounts of it to my tea. It is a lifesaver! Ordering more right now!

A nice smoke but have to pick out lots of stalk and woody bits before using, however good value for money compared to normal tobacco or ready mixed herbal tobacco. Mixes nicely with marshmallow leaves for a pleasant smoke.

10/10!! i have often used herbal tobacco but really i can't bear the smell & how moist it often is. SO i thought id try this !! OMG, i love it!!! however my flatmate did wonder if id burnt sumit... but to be honest, at least it doesn't make him heave like the normal herbal baccy does!! A+ 10/10

Have been ordering this item from same seller..last batch was was fine this one was full of twigs and hard coltsfoot which was near impossible to grind down...

As long as you are prepared to pick out all the woody twigs in it ,it is a good product.

Not woody or tough. Good scent. Used in a Herbal smoking mix. Burned well. Does need a moisturising stone in the tin or it will burn too hot.

No good as tabacoo substitute. Nice tea.
