I love this lamp!! It has a beautiful wide vase of about 5 in wide it is sturdy and heavy and it prevents it from tipping over. It assembles to the lamp very easily without any tools necessary. I love the touch control that allows me to use the photosensitive button or the color brightness button there is a little color indicator on the base that allows you to know which one is working. I love the doll that lets me control the brightness in the lightness I appreciate that it has a one year warranty and a 10% off on your next purchase which is a great bonus. I bought this to function as a lamp when I read and when I color I love the flexibility of adjusting the light exactly where I need it. I am extremely pleased with this lamp and I would highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a desk lamp or a bedside lamp. I will definitely purchase another one in the future!

I wanted something simple that blended with my bedroom colors, so I ordered this one. Opened the box, took it out and OMG...it would not stand erect. I was so disappointed. Finally my husband checked the box and pulled out the heavy stand that attaches to the base. YAY!!! (I am not mechanically inclined) Plus, his lamp has different hues and brightness. Very happy with it!

This is a great lamp. Very good when reading in bed at night. Also great when I am typing out a letter in my home office. Yes, I use a portable manual typewriter. It’s a 1955 Smith-Corona Sterling. No electricity needed. Thinking about getting two more lamps and just put them in the bedroom on each night stand. Only in white.

It's a great lamp for spotlighting a small area.

Like a prior review, we were amazed and suspicious about the size of the box this lamp was in when it arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and ease of the minor effort it took to put it together. The light is great and the neck of the lamp long enough to reach over my computer and onto the keyboard which rests below the height of the desk. Exactly what we were looking for. The touch on and off control is soooooo!!!!! much easier than the desk lamp this one is replacing. Great value for the money, arrived quickly and intact within the "small" box.
