Fantastic low cost solution to a really annoying problem. I've had to pay $25 per visit as often as twice a month to get wax suctioned out of my ears, and, when I don't go into the ENT to remove wax buildup, I get infections which are truly miserable. Combined with a small wet/dry vac, my Aurisorb does a fantastic job getting both small and large chunks of wax and debris out of my ears. First time was all it took to prove itself. I cleaned out my right ear, proceeded to the left ear, using the smaller of the two straws, and it clogged. Was trying to figure out what happened and then saw a massive chunk of wax was wedged into the suction tip. Cleared it and kept going while knowing a q-tip would have just wedged that hard wax even deeper into my ear canal. Strongly recommend with some pointers. (1) The Aurisorb purple bulb has to be held with the end of the vac hose; it's heavy enough and firm enough to not really "connect" to the vac hose ending. (2) I'm having better luck with the smaller straw because it seems to focus suction; you may have to try each straw and see which works best for you.

i was expecting the purple hand-held part of the product to be a squeeze sucker, like how an eyedropper works but that is not at all how this poorly designed pos works. This product requires you to connect it to a vacuum hose and is a surefire way to perforate an eardrum or cause permanent damage to an ear if you lose control of the vacuum hose while the tip is sucking wax out of your ear. I would strongly advise not buying this product unless you own a very lightweight vacuum and have a very sure handed friend to help you cleanout your ears; i have neither and this made the product a complete ripoff to me.

Best thing that ever happened to me concerning my ears and my allergy problems! I am 57. I have had severe allergy problems all my life. Took shots for years. Sneezing, headaches, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, severe headaches and ear-aches. When I was 55, I started having severe hearing loss. ENT put tubes in my ears to drain fluid. Helped greatly, but then after a few weeks the tubes would plug. ENT used suction to clear them. Recently found this item when searching for an ear vacuum. Decided to try it. Works great. Great improvement when getting checkups with my ENT every 3 months. Showed her this item. She approved of it for me. Use it every morning now to start my day!

I was unaware you needed a vaccuum for this my vaccuums too strong and even as I used the product my ears didn't seem any better also used the ear drops recommended by amazon and all that did was plug my ears making me half deaf(which was scary) all this did for me was move the wax in my ear around plus why do I need to go to the website for in depth instructions??? Couldn't believe this needed a vaccuum so went to check the paper instructions but it redirected me to the website what the heck!

I bought this thinking it would work as well as the one my doctor used on me but it was the opposite.. I used this for about 2 minutes with a vacuum that I have had for 2 years now and my vacuum stopped working, once you attach it to the hose the vacuum makes the same noise that it does when it's clogged. I didn't think anything of it because I wanted to see if this product would fix my ear problem but it didn't help at all. So on top of wasting $40 on this I now have to go replace a $200 vacuum.

I really like this. It works very well. The only thing that is not perfect is not necessarily their fault. I have to get this way down in one ear. When I do I can’t tolerate the noise of the vacuum so I need to stop. Make sure you use something like hydrogen peroxide in ear afterward or you might get an infection or irritation. All in all I am pleased. It did get s lot of wax out.

I rarely leave common or rating for product I buy. But this one does work for me. Without any help, did it all by myself. I can hear again!!!
