Does not work with my computer for some reason. Won't recognize the discs I am using which are all re-writable discs whether cd or dvd. Addition to the above It does work the problem was with the idiot who was trying to use it with the wrong burner app.

Cheap garbage.
The media could not be loaded. Don't buy this.The thing doesn't even show up in the file explorer, and it doesn't even read CDs or DVDs! It can't even do the thing it was DESIGNED to do! I have tried EVERYTHING to make it work yet nothing. Do yourself a favour and spend a little extra on a high-end drive that does what it's supposed to do.

Works great
Plugged it into a Microsoft surface pro 6. Works right away. Just make sure the disc is fully clicked into place. Its cute and sturdy.

Cheap you get what you pay for, but so far so good seems to be able to read the disks OK, maybe a little slow but good for a Cheap plug in drive
