Does the 32 oz wide mouth bottle fit in an airplane seat back for use during a flight?

It’s quite narrow I’d say yes

what is the dimension of the 32oz? The size showing ‎in product description 4 5 x 3.5 x 4 inches seems not right, thanks

The capacity I bought is 16 oz. Measuring 9" tall (including handle) and 2-½" diameter of its body. I didn't see a 32 oz. model, which is going to be quite large for carrying around. I am very happy with its design and quality.
