The most important thing is this deodorant works. It hasn't failed me yet. The fresh rain and cucumber scent is nice and subtle. I am very pleased with the paper packaging -- no plastic. This is an all around effective and eco friendly product.

a lot of the eco friendly packaging deodorants either don't work or don't smell good -- this one is great. It is not cheap but it lasts a long time and I've repurchased it for the past 2 years or so.

Goes on easily, unlike some other brands. Packaging good: no plastic. Seems to work well, as well as a non-anti-perspirant can. I like the scent, but it could be stronger -- just my personal opinion. I'd buy this again.

This is a replacement of a review I did when I first received the deodorant. Love the scent and the packaging is awesome. I wore this for a week and really enjoyed the ease of use -- for 20+ years I've used crystal rock deodorant (mineral salt / potassium alum).About a week after using this product, after a long hot day I noticed B.O. emanating from the pits. I was surprised and wondered what was going on with my body ... yes, I blamed my body LOL. But after having this happen more than half the days I used it, it finally occurred to me to try going back to the crystal. Sure enough, zero body odor, which like I said is what I've been used to for decades. Kind of funny, I haven't smelled my own B.O. for so long I actually forgot I had any.But again, for anyone who isn't willing to go the crystal route, this HiBar smells really nice and the package is kinda genius. Considering it's all cardboard I was impressed with how well it worked.
