It works so well on my 2022 RAM Warlock that I purchased one for my wife's 2001 Toyota Tacoma. She told me she didn't know I had swapped out the long antenna. The reception on my truck and her truck is outstanding.

for my 2003 f150 it fits, but you MUST trim the extra plastic off the mounting point, or you WILL crack the shroud.Update: Do not touch this antenna or it will break, get the votex instead it's made in AMERICA!

I don't get the local AM reception - very scratcy

I purchased an FJ cruiser late on a Friday night, so I did not notice it was missing the antenna. My bad. Shame on me and all that stuff. When I was driving on Sat, I did not get very good reception so i took notice. Now to be fair I listen to conservatives talk radio on AM channels, so the reception is never that great. Not wanting the long antenna, I ordered this little guy hoping to get clear reception of Dave Ramsey.It was super easy to install, since I did not have one already I was able to bypass the 18 seconds normally required to remove an antenna and proceed with the 16 seconds needed to install. I does look good on the FJ so there is that.I still do not get a solid signal for Sean Hannity, so I am not sure if it is working on all frequencies.. I may or may not try a FM station to see, but I wont have anything to compare it too.I am going to keep it, and if I want to listen to music, I have an old Brooks and Dune cd that I can pop in.Cheers,

This worked for me because I rarely use FM (I use Bluetooth and SiriusXM, which uses a separate antenna on the roll bar). It looks great and feels high quality, but you won't get acceptable FM reception. If you still listen to FM radio, you'll be angry with it. I live in NJ about 5 miles from NYC where FM reception is usually extremely strong, so just expect this to give you poor sound quality.

Fit just fine, works as it should and have not noticed a difference in reception. Taken througha touchless car wash a few time and no issues.

My factory antenna got bent in two at the car wash. Wasn't sure to get this one because some comments said the reception isn't as good. I'm here to testify that this little 4" works better that the factory one. No car wash will ever bend this one. Price was fair as well. Great little antenna!
