I am graced with thicc thighs and calfs that typically make finding suitable socks difficult.These socks are stretchy enough to cover my curves, and they don't become too transparent in the process.One thing that these don't do well is stay up, however, this is to be expected as they are made of the same material as a pair of tights. They tend to roll.You can get them to stay up in a few different ways, depending on what you want them for.If you want them for cosplay then you could glue/sew them onto the legs of a pair of skin-coloured tights that fit you.Alternatively, there is sock glue designed for dancers. I tried this and had inconsistent results.There are also suspenders and garter belts.

These worked great for a Velma costume for Halloween, but I was expecting these to be socks- in reality they are made from a tights like material and don't have anything to stop them rolling down your legs from the top, so I had to improvise with some body tape.

My daughter needed it for a Halloween costume and it was perfect. Arrived quickly and was exactly as described

im 5 foot 2 and i have thick thighs but they stayed up suprisingly well would defo recomend

It fit, comfortable and warm

You have to be careful when you stretch them as they are a lot thinner material than I thought.

Our daughter decided to dress up as Pippi Longstocking for book day. The dress wasn’t too hard to find. And a few metal wires ensured Pippi’s peculiar hairdo.The actual stockings were a bit more of a challenge. Eventually we ended up with these reasonably cheap but colourful over-the-knee socks. Obviously we were then forced to buy two pairs, a yellow and green one. Somehow though we ordered two pairs of socks that only differed in colour, upon arrival the brand, make and packaging per colour was different, even though its appeared to be the same type of sock on the Amazon listing. Just be aware of that, although it didn't matter much for our Pippi-dress up purpose.To my surprise both types were good quality socks, with deep colours, thick and actually comfortable to wear Though I have to say that our daughter is a petite but lengthy 9-year old. And even though we expected them to be too wide, they fitted well and held up perfectly.

They were great. Can’t speak of stretch as I am a little short and didn’t need to. They come up to over mid thigh on me (5’3). Very opaque and orange was a classic good orange
