Stainless Steel Whistling Kettle 3.0L KINGHOFF KH-3778

Love, love, love, love this kettle.Not only does it look stylish, but its a great pourer. It holds a lot ... i need a lot of water to feed our coffee habit.... and this does the job. We have used it on Gas, Wood burning stove, and Halogen cooker top, and on average it takes 12 mins to boil from very cold.Hubby does tend to get his finger hot as the push button to lift the whistler can get hot, but i get around it by not putting the whistler down....hubby doesnt see the point in watching the kettle till it boils but i love the wait and anticipation of the first sup of coffee with hot hot hot hot water....one thing i find with electric kettles, you cant get the water hot hot hot.

Lovely, quality, stylish whistling kettle. We haven’t made a cuppa with it yet but am sure it will do the job nicely.

kettle looks fine but the wooden part of handle does not go far enough so when you wish to release the cap,your finger wraps around the metal part of handle which is extremely hot i use a tea towel on the handle otherwise ok!

I bought this kettle because it is supposed to be metal. I did not want plastic kettles any more. I was disappointed that parts of the kettle were plastic when i received it but now I am really fed up. The plastic nob (why?) on the metal lid it turns out, was not just screwed on to the lid, no, there was a piece of plastic attached to the inside of the plastic nob. The screw went in to the piece of plastic. The piece of plastic was a very weak link and has broken after only 7 months. I am very unhappy with this. It hasn’t even lasted a year.

Beautiful and does the job well. Soft whistle. After 6 weeks the colour seems blotched.

It’s really kingoff brilliant. Best kettle we have bought. Had it now for 6 months and still looks like a great bit of quality kit

Der Kessel ist eigentlich hübsch anzusehen und darf auf dem Herd stehen bleiben. Praktisch ist der Schalter am Griff der den Pfeifdeckel vorne anhebt damit man heißes Wasser ausgießen kann. Im Inneren scheint der Kessel mir irgendwas beschichtet zu sein. Ich gehe davon aus das es gesundheitlich unschädlich ist. Der Kessel fasst tatsächlich drei Liter ohne deshalb groß oder plump zu wirken (hatte einen anderen zurückgehen lassen weil er zu klein war!) - aber die Pfeife ist kaum zu hören. Das stört mich nicht wirklich, aber eigentlich scheint es so wie wenn der Wasserdruck beim kochen zu niedrig wäre um die Pfeife zum pfeifen zu bringen. es ist nur ein leichtes "kurz davor" säuseln zu vernehmen. Trotzdem, der Kessel darf bleiben.
