I thought the sound quality would be worse. This thing is pretty dang sick

Love the color display. The sound is clear and loud. Sturdy. Good battery life. Very satisfied.

The sound quality is amazing. It's solidly built even though it is covered in high-grade, thick transparent acrylic and rubberized ends. It's waterproof, and easy to clean. It is a bit heavy so you'll want to get a case if possible. It's also good to protect the clear plastic surround against scratches. It doesn't scratch easily, but I wouldn't recommend throwing it in a bag uncovered with objects hitting it. Battery length is great and charges fast. The JBL App can be a bit flaky but works 95% of the time. Pairing the speaker to another Pulse is super easy and sounds amazing. The only thing I would gripe about is the lack of a simplified rubber case to protect the really gorgeous acrylic surround. Nothing fancy, just a holder or something to help transport it. Other than that, the speaker is amazing. I liked it so much I bought 2.

The media could not be loaded.  So! I had issues with the delivery. Basically my apartment complex is three separate buildings and it was delivered to the one I was not living in. But, customer service was amazing and helped me find out which of the two other buildings it was in. Long story short, after chatting with customer service, I found my package and charged it up and now I am thrilled.I love how bright the lights are even when I have it turned on in my kitchen with both puck lights and pendent lights on. I am not an audiophile or whatever you call it but I can say that for an "average" person I love the sound. I have it on fairly low, with my sliding door open living in a busy downtown city and the sound is still great. This speaker is even more amazing at night. My friend previously had the pulse 2 that I used to use but this pulse 4 is so much sleeker. You could really tell that the pulse 2 was a speaker but this pulse 4 just beautifully blends in with my apartment and the decor. The sound is great but the lights just elevate it even more. For the people who love self care, relaxing with the sound on your chest and the lights dancing around in the room is so peaceful. Also I downloaded the app which is also amazing because I can customize the lights from my phone instead of having to walk up to the speaker.Lastly, I really like how the buttons are raised/ lit up. It really helps you determine which is which, especially at night.

Let me start this off by saying I love JBL and I think they make really high quality products. My friend first introduced me to the Pulse 4 when he showed up with it one day at his house. Now this speaker is really fricking cool. The lights are super cool, I really enjoy that you can control the brightness of the lights, the custom setting is cool (if a bit seizure inducing), the lights are gorgeous with no pixels at all, the sound quality is good considering it’s only got one speaker on top unlike most JBL speakers and it’s overall just a really cool speaker for any occasion.My only issue with the Pulse 4 is the fact that it’s glass. Granted, the glass makes the lights about 10x cooler; however, THIS SPEAKER IS NOT PORTABLE. The fact that 90% of the speaker is glass means that this thing is a major pain in the neck to take anywhere. Even just moving it to another room is hard. The lack of non-glass surface area means any contact leaves smudges if you’re holding the glass or pushing every single button and/or risking dropping the speaker and damaging it considering it is glass and very fragile. Any attempt to protect the speaker with a case defeats the purpose of the speaker lights.Overall I really like this speaker and think it’s a really good investment (when it’s on sale). I got it for something like $157 and I really like it. I use for almost everything (really cool in the shower). Would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it. 4 stars out of 5

My son uses it to play his playlist from youtube and its quite loud for his little room, not sure I would use it outside for a party though, not that powerful

The media could not be loaded.  This speaker looks good, sounds good, but turned out to be very unreliable. From the beginning, the speaker had problems with disconnecting from the devices once in a while. It was annoying but not a dealbreaker for me. Fast forward to 3 months after that, and the power button stopped working. A couple of weeks after, speaker stopped working altogether. Never been dropped or anything, barely moved it around, mostly used it as a computer speaker, so I have no idea what caused it.

Rapidamente, si la recomiendo. Si prefieres fidelidad en lugar de ruido esta es tu bocina.Ej. Una Megaboom se escucha más fuerte pero la Pulse 4 se escucha mejor. Los bajos son increibles, separa muy bien las frecuencias.En contra podría poner el precio, pero la bocina se siente de muy buena calidad, no le pide nada a una BOSE revolve. El peso si es bastante, no recomendaría traerla de allá para acá por que parece que si se puede dañar. La luz al principio es muy llamativa pero con el paso de los días ya ni siquiera le pones atención. Eso si, cuando tienes invitados en casa todos quieren verla cambiar de color y es super llamativa, todo mundo quiere agarrarla y la llenan de manchas de dedos. La batería es buena peeero obvio no dura lo que dice, pero nada diferente a otras. Dura menos que una charge 3 y mucho menos que las UE boom 2 y Megaboom.En fin lo pondría así; La Megaboom se escucha más fuerte, mucho más, pero la Pulse 4 tiene mucho mejor sonido. Pero la UE boom2 y la megaboom son muy resistentes, lo digo por experiencia, se me han caido varias veces y siguen trabajando como si nada.Otra cosa que me gusto es que es USB-C peeeero no trae cargador, ya sé que puedo usar el de mi celular, pero por el precio debería incluir un cargador y no nada más el cable. Ah y no puede usarse como altavoz así que no puedes contestar llamadas, ya sé que no es gran cosa, pero yo si lo he usado, he contestado llamadas desde la bocina como las UE Boom 2 sobre todo cuando tienes las manos mojadas o simplemente para que todos hablen con alguien que llama.

La bocina luse muy bonita solo que realice la devolución por 2 cosas. Una. La bocina me vino el empaque maltratado y abierto como si el producto ya uviera sido usado. Y la segunda. Le falta un poco más de bajo al sonido. Ya que tengo la flip 5 de jbl y tiene mejor bajo pero no es para desilucionar a nadie. Ya que esta bocina jbl pulse 4. Es más para rolas como electrónica y pérreo en ese tipo de música si se aprecia muy bien los bajos.

It is for the stylish person without sacrificing mucb sound quality. It has one medium speaker but the way it channel makes huge bass. The LED is head turning and awesome. The waterproof is a plug but i never test it yet. The build quality is very good despite is plastic. The only complain is the lack of audio in function. The omit of calling is ok but definitely not the audio in. It is using usb 3 to charge and it is quite fast with its awesome cable that is reversible for usb c and usb A too!!! Omg. I really hope that usb c part does wire to its audio in so that may be update can enable audio in from usb c... But.... Not likely...

La verdad pensé que iba a ser más grande de lo que es pero se siente muy bien hecha, de mucha calidad y lo importante suena muy bien.Cuando llegó traía media carga así que me puse a cargarla pero la verdad aún no he terminado porque me puse a usarla.La compré para mi bebé de 2 años que le gusta mucho bailar y bueno con luces se emociona mucho, es por la felicidad de mi hijo que a lo mejor le estoy poniendo muy buena calificación.Si tuviera que quejarme de algo sería de la cubierta transparente que tiene, la agarras y se marcan todos los dedos , creo que no tiene la protección oleofóbica pero cuando prendes la bocina y se prenden las luces la verdad no se nota.La recomiendo mucho estoy muy contento con el producto.
