Allows us to use an additional jug with separately purchased blades. A bit pricey though, but should last a while with not being removed from jug to jug.

Before you buy the worlds most expensive piece of plastic to stop the jug from leaking, make sure you check the large black nut on the underside of the blade assembly. I assumed that the seal was the fault only to discover the nut was loose. Grrrr, but at least I now have a spare.

Works ok on our kitchenaid red blender, differs slightly from the one that came with the blender.We have used it for a few months now and it is fine. No leaks. We wash it in the dishwasher and it comes out fine.Pricey for what it is, a silicone ring, but I suppose when things are hard to find you have to pay for that.

This product is not suitable for the kitchenaid blender. I have leaks every time I use the blender, no not waste your money

In my opinion, a bit on the expensive side for a Gasket so only ordered one. But it does what it’s supposed to.

Si vous possédez comme moi un Blender 5KSB555 Kitchenaid depuis plusieurs années vous savez que vous devez changer ce joint régulièrement car c'est lui qui assure l'étanchéité de la cuve avec le bloc contenant la lame.Le temps étant venu de le changer j'ai donc cherché ce joint par hasard sur Amazon.Je l'ai commandé car son prix de 14.84 € était bien placé, cependant j'avoue que j'étais un peu inquiète sur le fait de recevoir la pièce d'origine et non pas un produit compatible.A l'arrivée bonne surprise, c'est bien un joint "pièce détachée certifiée d'origine" qui est livré dans un blister scellé et estampillé "Whirpool coorporation" - en effet Kitchenaid étant une marque du groupe Whirpool -Alors amis cuisiniers vous pouvez acheter ce joint en toute confiance en vérifiant tout de même la référence de votre blender auparavant, pour ainsi en assurer sa longévité. A bon entendeur, bons petits plats à tous ;-))

È perfetto e ha sostituito la vecchia guarnizione che mi si era rotta a causa di un incidente con un coltello affilato 😜
