Blue blues
I have a Zalman Z9 Neo case with 4 molex fans I'm happy to replace but like the blue aura the top mount fans give off. These Novonest PWM fans I received are faster than the quoted minimum by about 25%. One fan had a minimum rpm of 975 and the other 1008. At this speed the noise was already on a par for the 4 I removed.Unusually, the blue colour varies with fan speed. Going from pale purple at low speed to electric blue at mid speed to cyan at full speed. This may be a useful feature for the deaf or hard of hearing folk as a visual guide to fan speed. The reason for the 3 stars is the inconsistant build quality as they vary considerably in speed and mechanical noise. In a busy office or next to a main road they might be deemed quiet but in a home environment they are vocal. I have now installed Noctua. Bliss

QUALITY PRODUCT. TERRIFIC FANS. WELL MADE, LIGHTING IS SUPERB AND EXTREMELY QUIET WHEN RUNNING
These fans are excellent and I'm really pleased with them. Two fans in the box and what a great price too. They are extremely quite and that is a real bonus when you have 5 fans in one case. Just got to replace my other three fans with these now. The quality of the outer ring of light is terrific and too be honest it is a lot better quality than the picture on Amazon shows. I have already recommended these fans to my friend for his computer, which to build, cost over three grand!

Top quality, amazing value in twin packs, mega cool blue rings and loads of cool air!
I see a lot of reviews mentioning the noise from some of these fans. Well, these are PWM fans and are designed to be used in conjunction with a PWM fan controller. Well I already have a controller and had mismatching fans, one of which was very noisy. So I bought two pairs of these lovely blue fans and converted everything to PWM Pulse Width Modulation control which helps to keep electrical noise down, and that helps to keep noise down. These look like BWM 3 series ring headlights when lit, awesome and they pump a ton of air, trust me I used one to cool me down after lifting my PC up to the desk. Early days yet, bit I love them and therefore recommend them!! Here are the pics to prove it!

I have not been disappointed, during normal running they are almost silent
I was looking for a silent set of fans at a price I could afford. Having read the other reviews I decided to get these. I have not been disappointed, during normal running they are almost silent, I already had a PWM controller so just plugged the fans into it. When I am playing Elite or Assassins creed they speed up but the sound is still quite low and is lost behind my headset. The only time you are really aware of the noise is on initial switch on when the fans run at maximum for a few seconds....

Great value for money, looks amazing, 1600RPM though so can't really be used for rads if its a warm room.
Does what it says it does, spins at I think 1600 RPM through the BIOS, not too loud not too quiet, great item, looks insane in my PC case which has a blue theme going on, would definetly buy again if I could get more fans in the case!Barely takes in any dust which is great, just wish there was an option to take it past 1600RPM, as I would defininetly use these on my CPU radiator.

Great effect when run at full speed
Love the effect these produce on the front of my HTPC. Ended up plugging them into a spare 12V Molex on the PSU to run at full speed rather than relying on PWM (the LEDs shine brighter the harder the fan is working).Initially a bit noisy due to running at full speed and causing vibration, but easily remedied by removing the screws and replacing with silicone anti-vibration mounts. Sorted!

great looking fan
great looking fan, though the plastic for the screws are very soft so you have to be careful when the threads are cut. the blue effect is very nice, though close observation, there are some tiny bubbles in the light ring. Looking to buy more in the future, currently have one in the front of the case and one in the front of a Hyper 212 as a push fan.
