Probably, the typical arrangment is cylinder opposite firing cap so thet the string loaded trigger can fire the pin in the middle assembly into the cylinder to release the gas. Check the mechanism to find the manufacturer - most often it will be a UML United Moulders – a UK Manufacturer device, others Halkey Roberts – a US Manufacturer.
