Walking Giraffe Balloon - Comes with Lead!

I bought this as a birthday gift for my giraffe crazy little boy who was 7. He absolutely loved it. I would just like to point out a few things:It does NOT come with a lead as stated. However the man in the balloon shop who inflated it did provide us with some balloon ribbon which we tied on and it worked perfectly well. There is a little tie sight on the chest/neck area.The shop I took it to inflate was very reluctant to inflate the balloon. I managed to persuade him to try & whether it worked or not, just to charge me for what he thought the helium would cost. he therefore charged it at the rate of inflating 3 large balloons which seemed fair. However he really struggled to get it inflated. It possibly depends on the fixtures they have on the helium pumps. Anyway it was filled in the end & child was overjoyed. We got a lot of pleasing stares as we took it back to the car!It did not last very long- 3 days, and then it started to sag.On the up side it is very novel & made a small boy VERY happy. It sort of glides/drifts along the floor as you 'take it for a walk', the next best thing to a real live giraffe for my obsessed little guy! All in all I'd be reluctant to buy again purely because it was so difficult to inflate & looked like it wasn't going to actually happen. We were lucky. But I know the guy in the shop would not be willing to do it again- it took him over 10 minutes- it was good of him to try.

These are lovely balloons, I bought helium from Argos to inflate (£19.99 at time of writing).Be clear - they are not intended to float in the air, but "stand" so they can be walked along.You do not need to tie the place you inflate the balloon, they self-seal.***VERY important to order in advance, this comes from China and took a long time to arrive.***

For the price, awesome. Had desired effect. Easy to inflate. Lost it’s air considerably though I’m short space of time but we inflated it again. Had no problem with it.

My daughter saw these on the Apprentice and really wanted one for her birthday. It came very quickly and was a good price- but the local shop really struggled to get the helium in. There were no instructions and the tab didn't open. She had to cut an airway- then of course it wouldn't seal, so she had to stick it with clear tape. Not very satisfactory and it went down quickly.

Fab balloon, blew up easily and lasted a few days! Super cheap price so would definitely buy again

This balloon is super cute and perfect for the occasion. However, I had this balloon filled with helium professionally at extra charge to myself. When I delivered the balloon to it's intended recipient les than 4 hours later, it was already visibly deflated. By that evening it was almost completely deflated. This was a great disappointment, and makes the product seem like a waste of money. The valve system needs to be sorted so that inflated balloons last longer - I do not expect the recipient to pay to have it re-inflated every few hours.

I bought a few animal balloons this by far was my favourite one, it's adorable

Doesn't float at all with helium. Had to tie 2 other with helium filled balloons to it to make it float which lasted then 3 hours. Complete waste of money.
