Smoby Kids workbench, Drill and Play Belt

This is a really good product for the money. Was torn between the Bosch workbenches and this bench and I am glad I opted for this. Quality is good and you get all the features of the Bosch top of the range workbench for half the price. This product is impressive when built and I know my 3 year old son is going to love playing with this. Banging the nails into the wood feature is good and being able to build cars etc is another feature which I think sets it apart from other work benches at this price point. The draw is also a welcome touch as all the nuts and screws would no doubt have been strewn across my sons room if they just sat on the top, so keeping them in a draw might reduce this (possibly...still doubtfu!).Drill is definitely mechanical and not electric even though it says it’s electric in the main title! I think in the past it may have been provided with an electric drill by the looks of some of the comments but it is most definitely not now. It’s still a cool drill to be honest. Building does take a while. About 1 hour 20 mins. The time consuming part is unclipping all the bits from the plastic preform frames. That takes twenty minutes. The rest of the build is actually really easy. Instructions I found were fine.Decent product and decent quality at a good price point.

I bought this for my 30 month old boy for Christmas. It took a little while to build, approx 45 mins, but the beauty of it was, if you start with putting the tools together, those tools can be used to help build the bench itself.This is a very well made, sturdy toy, hard plastic and very robust - my lad is very heavy handed, so just as well. The tools are nice quality, feel good to hold for little hands and the table saw is particularly good.The bench keeps him entertained for hours, it's a great toy to use together. It's helping him to develop fine motor skills, patience, concentration, confidence and problem-solving.The blocks build 4 different vehicles, he gets a sense of satisfaction every time he finishes building one.A few not-quite-negatives, the hand saw is really for pretend play only, the app doesn't work very well with camera recognition for the cards, and the vice handle is a little bit loose. I'd also like for future blocks expansion packs to build more things with him.Very minor points, not enough to knock off a star. I'm very impressed with the quality of the product and it's one of the few toys he can focus with.

Instructions are useless!! Have a strong drink at hand before building - you’re going to need it!!!Have to mostly figure how to build for yourself. Parts have letters or numbers on the instructions to supposedly guide you to which part is needed in each step but none which correspond to be seen anywhere on the actual parts. ‘Ok’ and ‘No ok’ to inform which way round a part goes made me laugh. Stickers you have to guess when to put them on and hope you’ve put in place correctly before adding more parts to each element.Came in so many pieces all connected together which took an age to break up and get apart ready to build.Even the tools come in multiple pieces that needed building - Just unnecessary and for the price I feel should have come pieced together and should have been far simpler to put together. You have to use the tools you have built to put the station together - again doesn’t tell you this and you have to figure for yourself!Overall, absolute nightmare to build but once eventually together, it is pretty sturdy and a great toy so would recommend, but the building is tedious and ridiculously long winded. Set aside at least an hour and a half to build it and be prepared you’ll want to throw it out the window a few times in the process! 😂

I got this for my 2 year old for his birthday in April 21 and I can honestly say if I hadn’t of got him anything else he would have been happy, the drill isn’t battery powered but it honestly makes no difference to him, you use the bolts and toy sell to screw them in so he built it with some help from me, took all day but that’s because “I do it I do it” from the 2 year old haha could take 15 minutes if I’d have done it myself, super sturdy, overall brilliant value for the money it cost, it’s the first and last thing he plays with in the day

Perfect for my DIY enthusiast son, he loves playing with it.Easy to assemble, comes with a variety of options for playing. The mechanical drill is a great touch, replicates the real thing. Good height for a 3 year old, strudy and robust. Excellent quality.

Our grandson got this from us for his 2nd birthday. He absolutely loves it. It’s great for his small fingers to work out his to use his screwdriver, etc. As he has turned 3, he has started to realise the whole workbench can be taken apart with the tools he’s got! It’s kept him occupied for ages, just loves it so much. Worth every penny!

Takes time to assemble but sturdy enough when assembled. Our grandson loves playing with it.Great present.

Cette établi est superbe très bien consu et facile à monter mon petit fils de 4ans l adore, il a l habitude de m'aider quand je travaille à la maison ( je travaille dans la rénovation) , seul petite déception la visseuse ne fonctionne pas à pile mais avec de petit à-coup sur le bouton qui entraîne le mandrin par un petit demi tour, mais se jouet reste un très beau jouet pour un enfant.Très très bien.

Che dire, è uno dei pochi giocattoli che ha resistito 7 anni di uso intenso senza rompersi! Solo i rivetti hanno avuto qualche problema ma dopotutto si tratta di cilindretti di plastica. Il resto funziona ancora alla grande. 5 stelle meritatissime!

Kupiłem niedawno ten zestaw i dopiero został otworzony przez syna wczoraj (14/03/2022) gdy miał urodziny. Okazuje się, że brakuje w nim elementu do wiertarki (bit, śrubokręt płaski) w zestawie pomimo i formacji na zdjęciach i w instrukcji o nim. Ciężko mi wrócić przedmiot i zabrać prezent ale cała frajda z używania wiertarki do wkręcania to właśnie ten element i bez niego jest bez użyteczna. Niektórzy z komentarzy też dostali zestawy z brakującymi elementami. Zestaw jest ok ale brak tego psuje całą zabawę.
