Just to clarify this is a lamp shade retainer ring that fits a 28mm E27 lamp holder or pendent. this is used to hold the lamp shade on the lamp holder or pendent by screwing onto the lamp holder itself and the lamp shade resting on the wide flat surface.

This is not a reducer. Definition of a reducer, is to minimise or lessen, in this case the size. This was far too big, so the description is wrong and misleading.However, prompt delivery was 5 out of 5.
