Deters the cats
Have a motor-home under a cover and the local cats like to use the corners to sharpen their claws, just like they wreck furniture. The cover was being ripped and tried various ways to stop them, especially as I had just bought a new cover which I did not want ruined like the old one.Laying the matting on the ground below the vulnerable corners stopped it immediately, with no further cat damage. Been there for months now, did not need to be secured, just loose laid and has not moved.

I bought to put under my computer table to stop my cats from going there.. It didn't really work they walked through them.. BUT I do think If they were on top of a fence in a garden they'd be fine.. a deterrent for birds for sure...

Perfect for keeping cats off my motorbike
I think these are very good. Came in German packaging. Dimensions are as advertised. They clip together reasonably well. The spikes are not sharp enough to injure pets but unpleasant enough to keep cats from making my garaged motorbike their winter retreat. I snapped the six pieces into a 1500mm x 300mm configuration and strapped it along the length of the motorbike, over the bike cover. Time will tell if the little sh*ts leave it alone completely or if they still pee all over it out of sheer spite.

Poor value for money and poorly made.
Poor value for money - I'm sure they match the written specs but they are much smaller than I expected for the money.Also they don't attach to each other well - there are very few connectors for linking them together, which break easily and re-detatch easily.Also you can't link all 6 together - at most 3 strips at a time.Overall not worth the money, for cheap small bits of plastic.

Protecting robin nest from killer cat!
Seemed to be effectiveThe robins survived my cats best efforts to get to the nestThey fledged after a couple of weeksMy cat did not walk on the spikes- so a good deterrent!
